We came here due to the many good reviews regarding the red velvet cake and we really underestimated it. Ate it in 2 and after a while the effects hit us quite hard, never had such a high with a joint before so be careful when eating this small sweet. It may looks harmless but it is not, on the contrary;)

What a great experience. We got there pretty early and it wasn't busy. The guy behind the counter was so helpful and very friendly. He helped us pick the right edibles for us and then we went upstairs. Great little place, small but cosy. Would definitely go back, it was a great time.

So so dispensary. The doorman was very nice and helpful, but for some dumb reason they require everyone to remove their hat when entering. The staff at the counter was less than helpful. We asked several questions and received very little help other than a reference to the menu board. The smoking lounge is tiny with very few seats. The prices are decent but can score weed just as good for far less in the States. Overall it was decent but not a place I would return to.

The best in Amsterdam. The cake is outstanding; one serving is enough for two people to get really high. There isn't much space and seating to spend time and enjoy there, but the quality is absolutely top-notch.

I got 3 cakes as I didn't want to smoke. I had half waited.....nothing.,.. had another half and then she kicked in. Had a great night with the munchies and the best night sleep. Will be my first stop on my next trip

Shop seems luxury, I like that all the staff are running with a theme. We got the brownies and they were pretty good, had my missis knocked out anyway. First coffeeshop I’ve found that won’t let you smoke a mixed pre roll you purchased from them inside

I bought a red velvet space cake (recommended to me on the counter) and a pre rolled Amnesia Haze. The joint was pretty nice (as usual - the stain is good ik), but the space cake did absolutely nothing to me. It's recommended to eat only half of it but I had the whole thing, and on an empty stomach too, but it was utterly disappointing.

One of my first visiting at coffeshop ever. All perfect, i was there around 22:00. The Guy at the entrance If i remember well the name is Luca was very kind and professional. The weed was top. Will go back for sure

The cake itself, in the means of it’s flavor and texture wasn’t really the best. It just tasted like eating canabbis oil mixed with sugar. The staff was really helpful and nice. The high took very long (1.5-2 hours) to come, but i guess it’s normal for an edible. It was a pretty good and long experience. Would advice eating only an half though, and even if you don’t feel anything yet don’t eat the other half!! just wait for it. Reasonably priced, 10€ for the red velvet cake.

Loved the place, the guy at the door was friendly and the outfits at the store give it a great vibe overall. When inside it was pretty crowded, but I didn't have to wait long. The Budtenders were helpful, friendly and explained everything fairly well. The buds were beautiful, the cake and the brownie were absolutely delicious and kept me on a strong high for 5-8 hours. It's the #1 shop for me in Amsterdam, I'll hope to be back soon. P.S.: Don't know why this bloke under me gave the place a 1* review and talks about $20 for a piece of red velvet - bloke literally doubled the actual price to make it look worse lmao

That red velvet cake was definitely NOT STRONG (while their buds might be good), but its best not to sit there if you want to enjoy your stuff. The policies and the staff enforcing it are horrible. At first they say it's fine to roll with tobacco but don't smoke indoors. But then the chap changes his mind while rolling a joint and boots you out while speaking in a very sarcastic and condescending manner (even refusing to give a spoon to eat the cake). And when that happened, everyone else in the entire room felt so uncomfortable that they left (even if they were in the middle of smoking) and one of them said shockingly said "Are we dogs" to be treated like this ....... Honestly, there are many better places around, for better cake and better bud. Not worth it to ruin your Amsterdam experience by dealing with such a bunch of stuck-up lowlifes running this coffeeshop!

Bought a brownie, and a red velvet cake. Myself and my partner had never tried edibles before and I hadn’t smoked in years. Pleasant greeting at the door, “budtender” was also very nice, and very helpful. Packaging was fabulous on both items. We had the red velvet cake between us but my partner found the cannabis taste quite strong. But it certainly did the job, we were both nicely “toasted”. Will certainly go back when in Amsterdam again.

Honestly not worth it. Spent 20 bucks on a velvet cake and yes the packaging is fancy and yes they taste great but neither my friend nor i felt anything. I have had a lot of space cakes from other coffeeshops that got us super high at third the price. Seems to just be a tourist attraction. Sad.

They only had two types of space cakes. The brownie one was alright, kinda what you'd expect from a special brownie. I've always disliked red velvet, but the one here was actually ridiculous. Didn't taste funky despite being a space cake. Was moist, delicious, came in a cute box. The high was nice and comfortable, we went to the zoo and it was such a relaxing and wonderful experience. That red velvet was an elite edible, 10/10

We went here after reading how helpful the staff were in the reviews and we can happily say the same! The guy who served us was friendly, informative, and very clear with our options. We got the red velvet cake and halved it and it gave us a very strong high and lasted ages! Priced were very decent also

This coffeeshop is the best in Amsterdam. It has the best medicine, the best chocolate and the best service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Loved popping in and chatting with the staff on what dosage is best for me being a first timer. The staff member who served us (beard and long plaited ponytail) was lovely and really knew the products. Can’t wait to try my brownie tomorrow!!

Great place for some good greens. Never disappointed. Nice people that work there and they are very helpful to choose what you like. Space cakes are not very consistent and the taste of chocolate cakes of any sort are hard to swallow due to the strong flavor of the cannabis butter. Other than that great!

Went there with a friend and since I am not a smoker, but my friend wanted to try some weed, the guys helped him choose. They were really nice and helpful. I went on to get a cake. From what I’ve heard, they have the best space cakes in the Netherlands. They advised on how much to take as this was my first time trying them. They were pretty good and the feeling after trying it was simply phenomenal hahah. For people thinking that you can get addicted and are scared about it, I don’t feel any kind of need of needing to take more, but for sure when I want to enjoy the day in Amsterdam and just relax, I know where to go!

It's rare I give out a 5 start review. I have to say these boys grow some quality weed. It's the first time in a while I've felt satisfied by a joint. Given the huge amount of money these people is making, I think they can afford a bigger place, so their clients doesnt have to wait on the street, and also they doesn't feel packed like sardines. Anyhow, weed quality is supreme. Compared to other shops, I found it the same price but better quality.

I can see the attraction but, for me, this felt like being in a high end chocolate shop, and that wasn’t a vibe I enjoyed so much. Probably great for takeaway if you like trying something different because the menu was special.

Nice staff, great options of things to smoke, but not too many non-alcoholic drinks available. There is a room to smoke, but really small, works better as a takeaway kind of thing. A bit pricier than other coffee shops, but not a real issue. The dressed up man at the door was the fancy touch!

Great service very friendly from the moment you arrive the two gentleman outside dressed gives this place a very classy feel. I tried the red velvet cake! Was so tasty had to stop myself from eating it all in one go! They did recommend splitting it in 1/4 all I will say I ate half!. If you want the best stuff with service, and cafe coke here.

I drive from Ireland to Holland I’d like to say especially for boerejongens but I’d be lying but I do visit every time with out fail always top grade but at reasonable prices for these times , I love the dispensary feel but It would be nice the odd time to be able to roll sit have a coffee etc but I understand the set is different. Don't feel intimidated by the bank-level security on the door. This was recommended to me by a local as a place the Dutch go to for good advice on weed and the staff delivered. They were super nice and answered every question we had with calm and patience. No pics or video allowed on the inside, so be aware.

Good quality flower, however not happy with the 'advice' I got. I was rudely laughed at when I asked what strain was recommended before a workout. When I asked if she never tried smoking before a workout, the lady said she didn't smoke, so she was healthy, whatever that's supposed to mean. To Boerejongens: train your staff to be more educated about the product and professional to costumers.

This is a supreme coffeeeshop and let’s keep it that way: If you are going to order here please make sure you already know what to order. Because sometimes the queue takes more than 15 minutes. It doesn’t matter if you smell every menu item upfront. It’s Dutch weed. You’ll get high as a kite anyway

Been in Amsterdam a month now and so far this place has been the highest quality I've found. The prices can be high but it's super worth it. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and if you're nice, they'll answer your questions patiently and sometimes offer strain suggestions! Also love that the staff is so dapper, really adds to the experience. If you're ever in the area it's a must go because so far there hasn't been any place quite like it. P.s. try their hash!

Was my first experience with a Coffeeshop in Amsterdam. The service is fantastic. I did not know what I had to buy, because I do not know what kind of weed have the kind of effect I needed. I'm not really a consumer. But the girl behind the counter could guide me perfectly through the process and understood right away what she should sell me. Her partner also gifted me an Euro, cause the vending machine selling grinders and filters etc. did not gave change back. When I'll visit Amsterdam again, this will be the place to go for me.

While usually a great place to be, the corona situation has taken a new level here. We were told to stand on the opposite side of the street and keep apart when inside, which makes absolutely zero sense. No other shop applies these measures. The staff is seemingly quite overwhelmed by having to participate in this and does little to live up to "great customer service" claims. Sad to check Boerejongens off my go-to list.

Fantastic weed shop but the highlight for is was the smoking area upstairs, it was comfortable and light on a very hot day, selection of drinks available was amazing and the staff were just absolutely lovely and so kind. Heard a lot of peeps talking real good stuff about that store so I had to try it but everyone recommending it was just a consumer without knowledge and for someone with proper knowledge this is not the place to go for sorry guys. Bought weed for 15 bucks a g which was as potent as regular street weed back home and they had no clue about genetics. Besides that it wasn’t really friendly. Not unfriendly but definitely not a good vibe. Sorry guys but you need to improve a lot to keep up with the dispensary image you try to sell. Tourists will buy it anyway and I guess that’s enough

Visiting Amsterdam from the San Francisco bay area, I made sure to do my research thoroughly before deciding which coffee shop I had to visit in Amsterdam. A lot of places are popular for their history or their ambience, etc. But my main focus is quality. Boerejongens have a reputation for having the best herb in town. They provide more information about their product than the other coffee shops in Amsterdam. The shops have a beautiful art deco marble theme. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return in my future visits.

Best weedshop ever! The prices are more than reasonable in comparison to other places near the city center. The staff is friendly and helpful, everyone speaks good English. The place is always crowded (I've been staying in the line even at morning), but now I know exactly why - the best shop. Stay cool. Hope to visit you again!

Hello, You are a very reputable shop attracting many customers due to the professional approach to your business. Actually, the fact that you bother to ask what can you do to get 5* is another proof for this. The reason I gave you 3* instead of 5* is that your facilities are too small for the number of customers you are attracting. We had to queue on a small pavement obstructing the walking pedestrians in order to buy from you. Otherwise, the service was excellent, the prices reasonable and the personnel more than friendly and knowledgeable!

Very busy but seems to be able to cope with being busy. The staff seen very helpful and knowledgeable which is a huge plus. They seem to have a while selection of products. The prices seem a little higher than normal for the area. Unsure if the quality is any better than others but worth checking this place out.

The best coffees shop in Amsterdam for sure. The best quality of hashish and also the weeds is wonderful. The price is better than a lot of "commercial" coffee shops. I love this place. I bought 2 different hash and 1 gram of weed. Both hash was really nice and the weed was unbelievable. 8,5/9€ hash and 11€ for weed. I advise to buy here and consuming in another place. The smoke room is little but quite and u can smoke only pure joints.

This joint (pun intended) is amazing, lovely and knowledgeable staff, with the best strains locally. The edibles here are incredible, not only are they among the most delicious cakes I have personally ever eaten, but they were strong too and at good prices! Easily my number one spot in Amsterdam.

This coffee shop is a must visit in Amsterdam! Top quality with great assortment, the staff are friendly and ready to help you no matter if you are a professional stoner or just a occasional user. Make questions, ask to see (and smell) those beautiful buds and if you prefer hash... the Amsterdam Genetics blocks will amaze you. They have different locations and beautiful cannabis oil soap bars, merchandise products and even seeds.

There was quite a queue to get in so couldn’t get in at all on our first day. Woke up bright and early and got there just after opening and it was empty. Very good selection however completely different vibe to most coffeeshops. It does feel like you’re going into a high end apothecary from way back in the day but then this is what gives it its charm.

High quality products, cheap price. Elegant place and staff, with a small but very comfortable smoking area upstairs. Understandably crowded. It would be 5+ stars if the smoking area wasn't full or closed 3/4 of the times!

Farmers boys coffeeshop is a must try if you are looking for the best strains in Dam. Menu changes very often. One of the best service in Amsterdam, very friendly staff always providing you with good advice on their products!

If you want to get taken to space by the magical dragon this is the coffee shop to be in. Probably the best bud in Dam, get down there splash out and a couple of different strains and enjoy! It's not really a great place to sit & chill so weather dependant, go chill in the local parks or back to the Bulldog hotel for a game of pool!

Go here and it's easy to see why it has a reputation as the best coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Very helpful guy helped me choose just what I was looking for. Also the prices are very fair.

Loved the kosher tangi block hash and super lemon haze! Wonderful atmosphere, very professional clean layout. Upon entrance felt like i was in a medicine clinic, clean and strains displayed. Antonio Balboa is the man to speak to! Great host!

My go-to coffeeshop, although it is pretty far from my house there is no reason to go to any other. Their prices are low, and the weed is always amazing. The people that work there also are some of the nicest people. Check it out if you haven't before, it will blow you away :)

Brilliant place. Came here for a smoke session with Tony and I'd highly recommend it. He gave us 3 different types of weed and explained the difference between each one. We ran overtime because he invited 2 people on to come for a smoke with us which I thought was really nice of him. Will definitely come again next time I come to Amsterdam.

Very classy but still casual coffeeshop. Amazing selection of hash and weed. Was lucky enough to do a smoking session upstairs from the shop. Free smoke and chill with cool people. The shop has a pharmacy like feel, very professional i think. Love this place!!
