Very nice and cosy shop with friendly staff. A very clean bathroom. You can get all the help you need here and the product is quality. Some nice art and plants to look at while high even a lively aquarium. Ideally located in de pijp whether i want weed, hash, wax, pre-rolls or edibles i always come here.

Delightful Amsterdam coffee shop with an impressive selection of warm drinks—perfectly brewed coffee, soothing teas, and indulgent hot chocolate. Great combination with quality smoke.

the place was cool and I liked the aquarium. the guy who helped me was REALLY high, which normally wouldn’t be an issue but he messed up my order. I asked him if the hash joints had tobacco in them and he said yes. I said, oh okay, no thank you then, could I just get two pure sativa? he nodded, then my mom ordered a drink and probably confused him. anyways I ended up with two tobacco hash joints and I felt like puking only three hits in. I luckily recognized it and stopped smoking but yeah that was a terrible experience, but probably our fault for confusing him.

The Moment you walk in the Door you get welcomed with an amazing Energy and suprised with creative painted walls and an actual aquarium in wich fish of the sea are Vibing. The Service is immaculate. Tipp" Treat the people the way you would wanna be treated." I'm sure you will enjoy youre experience. Matter of fact the Bluesea is the reason I wanna soon visit Amsterdam again. Loved the place:)

Visiting the Coffeeshop BlueSea is like entering a world of peace and calm. Unlike most other coffeshops, it has a much calmer vibe to it. CoffeshopBlueSea is an inclusive and connecting place to be. It has really formed its own community! The amazing workers there make that happen. And I will personally always be grateful to have had the pleasure of experiencing this. Truly Respect is the keyword. And if you get that; you get in. Simple Some people decide to socialize in the bar consuming an infused cupcake, chocolate fudge or inhaling a weedballoon, others prefer to work on their computers in solitude ejoying a joint and a beverage. Surrounded by wonderous artwork displaying all kinds of magical creatures. «Beauty in the dark» Litteraly. Using a blacklight. Definetely something great to rest the eyes upon while enjoying cannabis. Blacklight or not. I absolutely reccomend this place!

Very nice an cozy place, if you're looking for something more local it is definitely worth a visit. The staff is very friendly and they give you good advice on what to get. A guy named Ahmed told us what to take and it was probably the best advice. As stated it is very cozy and chill, it's not a big place but that just ads to the experience. And the aquarium is a real highlight, next to the amazing artwork covering the walls; its the perfect place to calm down and smoke a joint. Last important note: the weed is perfectly priced, and it packs a real punch. I would definitely recommend that you visit this place yourself!

I came here while touring Amsterdam as it was on my way back to my hotel. I chose this place because of the reviews. I was, unfortunately, duped. The guy working the counter was dismissive and not pleasant. Usually, I don't care as long as I get a good high and a place to relax. Bought an edible and a joint for almost 20 euros. Then he told us we had to buy a drink to sit inside and said only cold beverages were available. Then I was told to pay in cash as the machine wasn't working. We obliged cause we were tired and just wanted to relax. As we sat down and started eating and smoking, 2 girls walked in, bought some weed, paid by card and sat down. My blood started boiling. Then 2 local guys or friends came and guess what? He started making them coffees and teas. I would not recommend this place.

I found myself coming back each day after my travels through the city. Sanctuary. Friendly staff, beautiful product, and a nice quiet spot to escape the chaosc and hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. I look forward to coming back

The grass was good. It's okay to take away, but it's not recommended as coffee. Especially the aquarium is more cruelty to animals than pleasant. The aquarium is completely dirty and the animals look depressed. If I hadn't been too tired, I would have liked to have addressed it. The art on the wall is fascinating.

We really enjoyed our time here! It was a lovely room with a fish tank and a big wall of plants. We loved the music that was playing as well. Blue Sea in Amsterdam was our favorite place to have espresso and enjoy our herb!

Brilliant place. Great prices. Friendly staff. I cannot rate this place highly enough. My 2nd coffee shop visit ever and the person behind the counter was very helpful. I do smoke a lot of weed and kinda know my stuff but he was very friendly, and even picked up on my UK accent and suggested weed that I would like based on my accent. That stuff was so good. Prices are dirt cheap compared to the other places I visited (some stuff here was 10e a gram, better than some 18eur/g stuff in the center) Radiator to sit down by and get cosy, the aquarium sets a really calm and relaxing atmosphere. Drink prices fine as well. My understanding is that buying drinks really helps the coffee shop, so I was more than happy to pay 2/3e for coke or tea. I am still rating this 5 stars, but there was one issue: the music. My first experience they were playing reggae (who doesn't love a bit of reggae) but my second they were playing some mix of charts from 2005 onwards, about 30 songs which got repetitive. I probably couldve asked for a song change but I was on my own and had headphones so that was fine. Really good for solo visiting, or groups of no more than 2 or 3. Definitely going to visit next time, a true hidden gem. Just some consistency with the music, find a very long reggae playlist or just general chill playlist. Anyway, you can get over bad music with friends around chatting. I really love this place and felt comfortable and catered for. What more can you ask for?

As a Dutch person myself, I always try to find hidden gems in my town. Last Monday night, me and two buddies, were searching for a great sit-and-smoke somewhere in the Pijp. It wasn't until around 11 at night we finally found Blue Sea. The person behind the counter immediately made us feel welcome, which cant be expected of a coffee-shop in the weed capital! Long story short, we smoked some and eventually the counterman even went into the smoking lounge to check if everyone was enjoying their stay. That was a great service i haven't experienced anywhere else. Feels like a true caring shop owner! Weed was also great. Reasonable price, especially when there is so much competition in the area.

Blue sea was the first coffee shop me and my boyfriend came into after landing in Amsterdam. There was a lovely selection of choice but ultimately I persuaded my boyfriend to go with agent orange. One of my favourites by far. Lovely staff, great atmosphere and a relatively large fish tank with beautiful exotic fish to keep the mind occupied, would definitely recommend as we returned on our last day and we were not disappointed

The Blue Sea is back with a new owner that has been known for his top quality Weed and Hash. The man responsible for the quality and Succes of the BLUE BIRD COFFEESHOP for the last 25 years, has now taken his knowledge and experience to the BLUE SEA COFFESHOP! The selection of Weed & Hash is top notch ( Iggy Pott, Night terror, Chocolope Blue cheese Lemon Haze ) to name a few. Beautiful natural designed interior with walls of flowers and plants aswel as an exotic aquarium to space off into, along with great music and friendly staff. Don't hesitate to come by and enjoy this wonderful oasis of peace, tranquility and good DOPE!

The place is absolutely the worst. The owner is aggressive to say the least - he kicked out one of the customers who was quietly enjoying his time and even purchased food from the shop. Needless to say this is not the atmosphere any self respecting customer would want. There are many other coffeeshops nearby with a much better atmosphere, and much more friendly workers, so do yourself a favor and skip Blue Sea. It is not at all worth it.

Unfriendly and aggressive atmosphere. We immediately left the shop again after an extremely inhospitable and arrogant reaction of the owner when I asked for the bathroom.
