Mandatory Weed Purchase and Racist Behavior. Avoid. Visited this coffee shop on February 3rd, 2024, around 4 PM. Upon entering, a young waitress with braided hair informed me that purchasing weed was mandatory to sit at the bar and grab a drink. Not being a fan of this policy - as well as many people - I politely say "Oh that's not cool, but thanks anyway!". I am about to go away when, to my surprise, she proceeded to make fun of me, mocking my English-Italian accent and imitating the stereotypical hand gesture (

Bad vibes. Was stopping off for a final smoke before leaving town and made to feel pretty unwelcome. I was waiting my turn at the counter, and looking at the menu, but my partner was still stopped and asked if we were buying weed before she could sit down and skin up by a guy who worked there. I mean, it is pretty obvious we’ll be purchasing something as I’m not queuing up for no reason. Good customer service is not hard but it appears to be that way for some people who just end up being rude and annoying to customers. Getting two stars instead of one because the girl working there was pleasant. Anyway, we’ll never be returning which is no problem as there are umpteen better shops locally. Try Superskunk a short walk away. Much friendlier with less attitude.

wow the mocha's as good as COcoa. but not HOT strawberry latte !!! to begin with !!! Must get espresso. Music slow, bit funky. And the cappuccino that's how it's served before and after as the photos rich w cocoa. And HOT

As a medical cannabis patient, I see and taste it from another side of the view.that means that I vape and I clearly only use cannabis.(I don’t think consuming cannabis with tobacco makes any sense whatsoever, but okay that is another story) I was here a couple of times and I liked the vibe in the shop. The prices for me are too high if you choose a flower that is potent and something else as the normal strains. The staff is mainly very friendly helpful, and you can use a volcano from Storz and Bickel. So maybe it was a bad day ? I don’t know …. It’s just sad not to have more control over the quality you get . I use cannabis because it helps me and good cannabis taste good

Im in Amsterdam since 2011 and I found Club Media since then. It’s very nice place, it changed a few times, (always improving for better). It’s like your living room with a great atmosphere. The stuff is very friendly,you can play games, cards… they very good ventilation, music and screen. Toilets always very clean

This place is great. A very local vibe. Friendly staff and nice guests. Never seen any rude or loud people there either. Cali flowers are cheaper than in city center , so worth the visit nuff said

Lovely spot and staff very friendly. A very chilled out vibe and prices are really good. We visited on a Sunday morning it was very quiet. Music in the background really nice vibe. Recommended highly!

They do not give a clear information, do not know anything about what they are selling, one of them told me we only sell THC without CBD which is incorrect, every type of them have diffirent ratio of them, but they are also really rude.

Yes!!! Top 5 coffeeshops for me most certainly. The best part about this coffeeshop is that they tebd to have top shelf for reasonable prices (comparitively) the white runtz was sooooo delicious for 15€ a gram. Shops like the plug are great, though they have been known to charge 20-30€ for stuff like white runtz, exhalting club media as a super solid spot in my book. They also have had champagne haze for a long time, an uber solid sativa for a consistent 12.5€ a gram is very cozy for when the connoiseur tips run low.

Not a very welcoming place. Almost felt unwelcomed and felt like guy behind the till was borderline racist. Avoid this shop if you are coloured, lol. It's 2022 for god sake. Also only accepts Dutch cards only or cash. Felt like an archaic establishment not ready for the future.

Great coffeeshop, large variety of weed and hash of excellent quality. Have been going there for a long time and the budtenders/ staff always give a warm welcome. The inside is nice and warm unlike many other coffeeshops as well as cosy. 100% recommend this coffeeshop if you are in de pijp area, you won’t be disappointed :) s/o club media❤️

My favorite in Amsterdam. Always some exotic strains on the menu and especially the hash menu is pretty unique. Price is okay. Around 10 to around 16 usually. Shop got rebuild during covid. Did not sit there yet but it looks pretty cool. Staff is friendly and know there business.

Highly recommend the hash brownies and the champagne haze. The hash brownies are so so good from this place that I couldn’t bare to part with them before flying home..so I ate them all outside Schiphol hoping they would kick in during the flight. My plane was delayed so I had a really nice chill on the cold hard floor but honestly it didn’t bother me at the time, that is how good the brownies are.

Chilled, friendly. Great selection of products with very knowledgeable staff. Seems to be mainly locals, which is great. Plus they do an amazing hot chocomel - when you're baked, what more could you possibly need?

The very good thing about this coffee shop is that it doesn't spell like crazy on the street, there are mainly locals in it and the atmosphere is quite cool. The thing is when we came, the man at the cashier seemed annoyed that we didn't know how it worked and that we didn't know what we wanted. We had to insist a bit to have clear information about what/how to get. In the end, he gave us good advice. Inside, the music is very loud, but the hot drinks are good.

Great quality, knowledgeable budtenders. A bit more on the pricey side, but it's still one of my favorites. I always go here for sleeping strains, and the quality is consistently good. Also a nice place to sit, and I some times even make music there on my laptop.

They have like an entrance with a locked door. It made us think they weren't open yet or something then some bloke comes out and says you have to buy something to be let in which I thought was weird as that's why we were there. Nice place, clean and tidy just a little strange way to treat customers.

Great quality product, never went into the lounge but picked up the half gram pure joints and were very good tasting and potent. Definitely organic and well grown cannabis!

I think the place is nice and beautiful and in a good locality too. I give 3 stars cuz, the guy who was selling me the cannabis scammed me for 50 cents but it's a small amount so it don't matter much.. But I clearly saw you hide my 50 cents.

Very nice atmosphere inside, as well as amazing service. Good vibe. However the preroald joints had a bit to much tobacco for my taste. Another downside are some of the rules like taking of your head.

After roaming several days searching Amsterdam we stumbled upon Club Media. Very quiet shop where the budtender was extremely helpful and not pressuring. 2 Volcano vaporizers and an explanation sheet. We got Girl Scout Cookies and could not have been happier with the quality either. 5/5.

This was the first coffee shop I've been to in Amsterdam and it had everything I was looking for and more!! Since I was a "newbie" to the shop experience, the clerks assisted me with any questions I had and made me feel comfortable. I also forgot my lighter and they let me borrow theirs for the whole duration of me being there. I decided to go with a pre rolled joint just to simplify the process and they were perfectly rolled, and even had a filter so you get a smooth pull every time. I paid about €3-€4 for one joint and the amount of weed was very generous; I probably would have paid $10 for the bud alone back in NYC. Whoever made the custom playlist, solidified me staying there even longer because it was nothing but chill tunes. I would definitely recommend this shop for tourists coming to Amsterdam for the first time, can't go wrong! P.S. The weed is pure and potent!
