Very friendly counter staff. Nice menu with some good strains. Not the most amount of space if you're looking for somewhere sit for a while.

The guy behind the counter was great. Pretty rude waitress, you have to buy drinks to sit down even if you bought weed. Reading the other comments it may be a race thing. Selection is medium sized. The pre-rolls are better at The Dolphin.

A very racist establishment who wouldn’t let us buy what we wanted. Then proceeded to scream at us saying get outta here. I Really wouldn’t recommend it cause why would you do that to customers. That’s just stray up bad behaviour.

I know it was our problem to not check the price before paying, but when asked for an item, it seemed like the cashier used the fact that my friend was drunk and sold them the most expensive joint there was, because they were not looking at the screen when paying. The prices seem very high.

Horrible racism experience at Strain Hunters. I recently had a disappointing experience at Strain Hunters that I feel compelled to share. While I usually enjoy writing positive reviews, this time, I must highlight the unsettling racism terrible service and I encountered during my visit. Upon entering the coffee shop, I immediately sensed an unfriendly atmosphere. As I stood in line waiting to place my order, the white guy seemed to go out of their way to ignore me. When I finally managed to place my order, I was met with a condescending tone. But he was pretty nice to the other white customers in the shop, explained the products with smiles. It was clear that I was being treated differently based on my race. Later, I was asked to leave the premises simply because I had a half-empty water bottle tucked away in my bag pocket, even though I hadn't taken it out or touched it. It was ridiculous, I have a half of bottle water in my bag which I did not even bring it out of my bag leading them to kick me out of the store. What made it even more glaring was the observation that other white customers had water bottles in their bags, and the staff didn't raise any objections. This glaring discrepancy in treatment based on race was undeniable. With numerous excellent coffee shops to choose from, I strongly recommend steering clear of this particular establishment to preserve the positive vibes of your day.

The staff are really nice and friendly. They help you out if you’re stuck on what to order. Their vanilla space cakes are sooo good. Deff start off with half if you’re a beginner.

A really good experience. The staff was really nice and let us smoke buds from other shops as long as we buy something to drink (the chocomel is an absolute banger). The place is nice, and they have some really nice weed, one the staff was kind enough to roll us a joint because they no longer had pre rolls of the strain we wanted. A really nice coffeeshop that is a must try for any pothead traveling to Amsterdam

Firstly, the weed and products are definitely good but the prices are inflated. The building is ok, nice enough but not very comfortable. The staff that served me barely acknowledged my presence or said anything. The truth is that these days there are plenty of places that give you a better product at a better price and are more welcoming of their customers. I would only recommend going if you use their seeds and have an interest in the company.

Nice Coffeeshop with a great selection of weed for good prices. If you buy 5g or more you get a free grinder, which was a nice surprise. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Amsterdam.

The hot chocolate with whipped cream was good as was the chocolate muffin edible... very friendly staff... this location on your mapping app may appear as 'green house'.

Stopped by on the walk back to our hotel. This was an okay shop. Definitely had stronger product than some others we had in Amsterdam. Selection range on marijuana from Dutch to Cali blends. The sitting area where you can enjoy your weed or blunts and a drink on the side was small though. Even the outside sitting area was small. Quiet area, but restaurants are around as well. The prices were very reasonable priced. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Had a great time chilling here. Was unfortunate to watch a car get smashed into outside but it does not happen often so don't let that put you off!! The menu is great the staff are awesome , spent a couple hours here and loved it.

Nice Place But Again, Just A Dressed Up GreenHouse. Bit Pricey But Weed Was OK. Be Confident When Ordering And Ask To Look At Any Weed Before Buying, Same Goes For All Cafes.

What a lovely coffeeshop, has a selection of range on smoke from Dutch to cali Has a decent size sitting area where you can enjoy your smoke and also a drink on the side. It’s in the city centre but not right in the city centre so sometime it can be quiet It is also reasonably priced and is definitely worth a check if your in the area I will be returning here when I come back in 2023

Everything seemed good, the atmosphere in the shop seemed very nice, bought a joint for 9 euros, and was hyped to smoke it outside my hotel, but the joint was super loose, it was not packed at all. It folded in two just holding it. When i tried to light it it wouldnt and all the weed flew right trough the joint. So no joint for me at last

Nice and friendly Coffeeshop.The wall is full of nice pictures of the Strain-hunters field trips which I really like. Here you can find the high-end quality flowers and seeds. The prices are absolutely worth the quality in my opinion.

Bad service, i get 5G every time and they don’t even give you free paper!!! They will offer you a plastic grinder that doesn’t work, also between 4 till 7 or 8 they have very little weed if nothing and they won’t restock or refill

I went there with my buddies hoping that we will find something special because there were so many good reviews about this coffeeshop. Guess what? Those guys had a great strain named Cereal Milk and it was one of the BEST strains we smoked in Amsterdam. If you ever visit it, ask for the Cereal Milk !

I was there randomly, i found Out that this belongs to Greenhouse NL wich hast a Long History. 8 csme in and it felt Like a Smartphone Shop - very Clean . The vendor behind the bar gave me far cry 3 Vibes because he looked like vaas. The weed that I took was genuine quality, it was the first amnezia Haze here in Amsterdam I bought. They also had california weed for like 30€/g. The jack herer he showed me looked nothing like a good flower. I know jack herer and I can tell that this was not it. I don't know what happened to the shops after a long time but it seems that the quality of the strains is very dependent on the source you got. They need to legalize and control the growing in NL.

Very decent selection. I love the Jamaican Sungrown and the Acapulco Gold - both are so rare to get anywhere else. I also like the hash variations, but I find some of them a bit too expensive. For 17 euros a gram, a traditional Moroccan hash like King Hassan - which I've always bought for half price in the past - must be very good. However, the in-house cream varieties are usually of very high quality and the price is also okay. And original cookies from Cookies Farm for 16 euros are also a good deal. King regards!

I am going to compare to the previous coffeshop 420 which they took over and rebranded. First they reduced the seats and put the most uncomfortable seats ever, second it is way too loud so if you want to chill then don’t go there, third it was way too crowded when you buy weed, so many ppl coming in and no one is monitoring, I ended up feeling like I am in a crowded bus in COVID time. Weed selection is better than the previous 420 cafe

I thought this was a lovely place, but i was told today they don’t allow laptops. This is after I’d already purchased marijuana and two drinks. Mind you, just yesterday I sat in this same cafe WITH MY LAPTOP writing for my over three hours. But with a different person working the counter. Also, I was here at this time last year for two weeks and visited this place at least 10 times using my laptop EACH AND EVERY TIME. They should place a sign if they have such a rule— they have signs for other rules. But very odd. I’m wondering if it’s a racist thing (I am black...and in America when stores pull out these rules that aren’t written down anywhere, it’s usually a racism issue). So that’s why this place gets 1 Star. Very odd indeed...
