second time trying here a year apart and both times the staff have just been unnecessarily rude? always seems there’s some odd vibe? music isn’t it either

5 euro joints are just low quality tobacco, no weed all or the cut of leave.Kush joint 9€ is as well very poor quality and it doesn't smell like Kush at all. Water "New times" (giving you 100% they just pour it from tap) they sell for the price of famous brands 3.50 euro. Briefly saying, they sell crap. Do not recommend - waste of time and money!

We just got thrown out of the establishment for simply trying to smoke because we had to buy a drink first. Never heard of this rule. The blonde Russian chick needs to relax

Would give 0 stars if I could. I just got kicked out by a short lady with glasses after buying a €60 Zushi pre-roll (that was rolled awfully and burning black) because I wouldn’t buy a drink. Honestly shocked never had any thing like that after going to 30+ shops. Absolute joke of a business will never go back

Think it was the cherry runtz I got from here, taste lovely, very nice weed. Nicely decorated, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Expensive items and the people are very rude here. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and this new team is very unfriendly. You can not sitt down to smoke without ordering a drink

5 star to 1 star overnight. Just want to order a coffee. Apparently not allowed to unless you purchase other items. Disappointed to say the least.

Stumbled upon this Coffeeshop while exploring Amsterdam yesterday. The vibe and atmosphere at first glance looked cool so we decided to try this location. The staff weren’t overly friendly but we still decided to give it a chance. Bought a sativa dominant pre roll and asked if we could sit up stairs initially to smoke. Once upstairs we couldn’t pick a seat as the place was uncleaned and wasn’t being properly serviced. There were dishes from previous customers and the seats were all covered in ash and other crumbs. The bathroom wasn’t any better and I actually tidied it a bit myself. My friend and I decided to sit back downstairs after this as it seemed to be cleaner. We sat back downstairs for not even a minute before a female staff came over and told us we couldn’t smoke in here unless we buy a drink. We had just purchased weed here and this was not disclosed before the purchase that we would have to buy drinks as well. We would have went to a different location if that were the case. So we opted to leave as that was the only option for us. This experience felt like entrapment as it’s better to smoke at the coffee shops rather than in public and if this is the expectation of the establishment it needed to be disclosed before customers buy anything. Overall I wouldn’t go back. There are better places in Amsterdam for your money, that provide cool and clean atmospheres and that are forth coming about the expectations of the establishment.

Worst place in Amsterdam… the staff was super rude & did not even understand what we wanted. They miscommunicated the concept and get excessively angry toward us. They also fudged up the order, the order being “sparkling water” but she managed to misunderstand as “still water” and kept insisting we ordered still water. Never ever again

DISCLAIMER - DO NOT GO HERE If I could change one thing about my experience in Amsterdam, it would be going to coffee shop new times. The place looks good from the outside but once you step inside you are met with a very unwelcoming and rude staff who do their best to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible. More specifically the Mixed Race Female staff member who made it her priority to make us feel unpleasant and awkward as possible, leaving us in distress by the time she’d finished with us. Firstly we sat in the upstairs seating area where this woman refused us of any regular privileges even sitting on a regular chair which wasn’t being used, then forcing us to sit on a broken uncomfortable stool. Then aggressively making us throw our water bottles (kept in pockets and bags out of sight) in the bin even though we had already spent substantial money on weed and drinks regardless. I would even go to describe the experience with this specific lady as traumatic.

Heard good things about this coffeeshop, looked cool from outside, menu was also good, unfortunately the whole experienced was ruined by a power hungry passive aggressive female staff member who put a dampener on the whole experience. She ordered me and my friend to move tables despite there being no other customers in the upstairs seating area, she snatched our water off us despite us already ordering a drink in store. Was completely rude and unwelcoming towards us; and created and awkward and unsavoury vibe. usually have great experiences with staff throughout Amsterdam being a regular visitor, but this left both myself and my friendship group with a sour taste in our mouth, really disappointing as was excited to try this place. if in the area would recommend coffeeshop Tyson.

Spend most of my time at New Times or Easy Times. Both have great vibe, customer service, great playlists. Definitely my spot.

Really enjoyed this coffeeshop. Surprised to see reviews saying staff are not attentive, it's the only coffeshop we've been to where the staff came to our table to see if all is good and we wanted any drink or food Sat outside Really enjoyed it to be fair. Good music too.

Good coffee, just a very strange and unpleasant waitress, a young woman with loose curly hair, mixed race, she kicked us out for no reason, even though I'd just bought 3 pre-rolled joints and asked the salesman if I could drink on the terrace, and he said yes of course. The waitress came to see us and kicked us out of the cofee because apparently we weren't drinking despite my joint in my hand, incomprehensible and very disappointing.

One of the best . New Times been trending lately cuz they got one of the best menus in Dam atm . Good dutch flower exclusive packs including TheTen , SuperDope , Wizard Trees , CALI X ) also branded Pre rolls . Flower can be pricy but at the end of the day you smoke top shelf exclusive flower and that’s why I got there weekly . 10/10 customer service . Overall a coffeeshop you don’t want to miss

Picked this shop for the cool vibe but that clearly was just the look from the outside. Staff is dismissive, rude, not knowledgeable or attentive. Asked to buy a lighter 3x at the counter and never received one. Sat down to smoke and ordered drinks that never came. Staff came out 3x to yell at us that we needed to order something to sit and we told them every time we were waiting for our drinks… still never got them. So many other places to go - save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. This really put a damper on our trip.

I bougt some Pink Runtz for 18.- a g the Flower was at least one year old and possibly sprayed with Terps. Really Sad they sell such stuff.. very disappointed Maybe its better to not put Flower in a Jar and just sell good Flower

One of the best locations in town. The Mood is great with music playing in the background. The bud is a bit pricey but the quality is there.

The people are very friendly and the weed is great. I went here and caught the sun and was feeling quite unwell but the staff where super helpful and I was feeling better in no time.

The vibe is super chill but the buds here are complete trash. Preroll Tastes like tobacco and when we told the budtender he truly didn’t care. Too many coffee shops in this town to serve garbage product like that. I would avoid this place and go to Tyson or any other shop in town!

Very good weed and a lot of variety. Price is a bit higher than other shops but you do get a nice glass jar with ur weed in it, which is pretty dope. They do offer cool prebuild options including zushi with rosin for like 60€ and yellow zushi with rosin for 90€ I believe. Also higher priced stuff with runtz and rosin. I bought their lemon cherry gelato and black cherry gelato, which both tasted great and left a nice high.

Good quality product, and cool packaging. The smoke area is immaculate, and fit out looks awesome with the pink colour theme. Staff are super friendly and chilled and shop is in good location. Only downside is the price, little on the high side but you get what you pay for.

The worst coffeeshop i've ever seen and I am not the type that love to complain But pepole need to know that the seller Is soooo rude and unreliable.

Normally one of my fav stops, but so rude and insulting this time for no reason. Don't sit down until you buy something and have it with you - or you will get yelled at - even if you already paid!!! 7 people behind the bar, but 2 people actually working. All chaos and scary. Too bad.

The people that work there have no social skills at all and there was even this one kid that picked dirty dishes of an another table, placed them on mine and just left without cleaning it, that was very disrespectful, it was my first visit and definitely not visiting again. 01-01-23

Honestly such a good coffeeshop, great music, a really good vibe a bit on the high end on the prices but the weed does make up for it, overall very good menu, tasty, clean smokes. A good selection of Dutch and Cali, the staff are very polite and knowledgeable and really take the time (regardless of the queue) to deliver the right high whether you're a beginner or pro. They also won't pressure you into buying the most expensive weed on the menu which is nice to see. Would definitely recommend a visit to new times.

Great place located next to a lot of nice shopping streets in a quaint district. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the music played is very cool. The budtenders are chill and the prices are fair. They made a mistake with my order but quickly fixed it without much quarreling, which I appreciate. I will endorse this place.

First time some NYCD, and this time Straw-Ban. Kush.. By the way, it was the Best weed we had on our tour, and I was in 4 boerejongens(love it since years) , greenhouse, Grey Area.... The blonde budtender was friendly

Nice shop. All their buds come in jars which is very environmental friendly. But I do like some nice fat buds when I buy 2 gs and this way you mostly get small ones. Menu is quite expensive and not all the strains are worth their price. Did score some great SSD though. Friendly staff and chilled vibes when we visited (midday midweek)

Nice coffee shop to chill and relax in and seem to have some good variety in there... one thing I'm sceptical about is this so called "cali" bud that gets sold for 45 a G in these kinds of places. I just think it's plain rip off

Was great for getting some top quality cannabis friendly staff very helpful. Was close to are hotel so was great for a wake and bake or a nice chilled evening. There is also seating outside if you wish to sit outside.
