Me and my friends wanted to buy some drinks and smoke there but the staff was very unfriendly. After that old guy pressured us to buy more so we could stay, we had an argument and left. Dont go there! There are much better coffeeshops in Amsterdam.

Can't say a bad word about this place at all. Very relaxed, very chilled and very helpful. Friendly staff, very helpful and a really nice atmosphere to relax in. My first experience in an Amsterdam coffee shop and it was great. Will visit again.

The coffeeshop itself was nice. Not too busy, nice ambiance, can have a relaxing sesh with friends. But have to give 2 stars because the guy at the counter was very rude. Not helpful at all when we asked question and snapped at us. Like I said, the coffeeshop itself was nice. But just the way the guy acted towards us made us feel not comfortable and so we left after staying a short while.

Do not buy their space cakes. After 4 hours NOTHING. They can’t make a proper edibles. It’s better to get Spacetry brownies, they were super strong.

The bud tender (Gin) was the best laugh ever. He wss always cracking jokes and has a personality that is larger than life. This guy should have his paid doubled for the entertainment he provides. The watermelon kush was pretty tasty too. Go enjoy and spread the good times.

Rudest waiter ever! Came in with a can coke in my hand while in a call in my cel phone (while with a friend that already had ordered a coffee from them). She rudely interrupted my call demanding i ordered a coffee. I signaled her to give me a minute. The can was empty and i was not drinking it. She insisted i had to get a drink. Had to get off my call to be rudely treated by her. She was awful to an old lady asking about thc cookies and more rude even to an irish woman ordering a coffee. How they stay open with people being treated this way is beyond me. She seemed to be nice only to men. Wouldnt go back. Don’t recommend! Not the chill vibes you’d expect from a nice place like that one playing reggae music.

This is a very nice coffee shop with friendly, helpful staff who sell a wide range of strains, and a choice of either chocolate or vanilla space cake. The staff are pleasant and answer all of your questions without judgement. They also offer a good selection of soft drinks or hot drinks like tea or coffee. This is a good place to start your

The guy at the counter when I walked in acted like my mere presence as a customer was an insult to him. I don’t know what side of the bed he woke up on but asking basic questions was met with crassness and he made it very clear that his main goal was to get me out of his face as quickly as possible. I get working with customers can be difficult at time but it really doesn’t take much energy to not be a dismally mean.

I came Amsterdam with a particular strain in mind; Jack herer. Coming here is hitting the jackpot with other great strains and calm comfy seating and amazing music. This became my favourite Coffeeshop of the whole trip, met some wonderful people and great staff. It’s quieter during the evening , and very tasty hot chocolate! Thank you Kandinsky for the souvenir and I will definitely be back to the best for the best !

My gf went to Adam and all I asked was a lighter from the nicests coffeeshop I know. She was there on thursday something like 13-14. Lady on the counter was so rude that she went to your another location. Why like this? Maybe she's on a wrong job.

Too many choices of coffee shop to waste your time and money here. I have not been to a more rude coffee shop in any of my times in Amsterdam. Their marijuana was of lower quality than any of the nearby shops. Tweede Kramer had a better selection, were far more polite, and their scales were accurate. New times had great coffee, selection and staff. Every time we come, we can often guess which shops will be gone when we come next time. This location of kadinsky won’t last long with these policies, that attitude, and those strains of poorly trimmed, badly dried weed.

Expected all three of us to buy cannabis, and all three of us to buy a drink to be able to sit in the coffee shop. That’s why it’s empty. Also, the service was terrible and rude. I’m not sorry to say that three drinks and 1 g of cannabis should be enough for three people to sit in a coffee shop. * update the closest coffee shop on the map had no problem accommodating us. Kavinsky is one of the only two coffee shops in the city that have acted this way.

Nice strains and chilled they also take visa. It hasn’t changed much over the years and the upstairs is cool if the glass door isn’t being banged against the metal chair all the time.

Great atmosphere, a wide variety of products, and a very friendly staff that can help you with your choice. Highly recommend it if you are visiting Amsterdam first time! Just ask for something light and trust the barman.

Totally unfriendly young man, we arrived, wanted to sit and then we were kicked out because we should FIRSTLY order before sitting. The tone was really rude, so we left somewhere else with better environment.

Really nice popular coffeeshop with good reason! Decent size to sit inside however , the produce is the best, probably a couple of euros cheaper than other spots nearby , really worth going in and having a look. Nice staff and Covid friendly too. Looking forward to coming back again

Goede shop P.s. to all the foreigners giving bad reviews - it could very well be that you get treated badly because you come in speaking English. Sorry its just the way it is tbh. sometimes tourists in coffeeshops can be annoying as all hell and yall built up quite a reputation. Go to other dutch cities and buy your weed, believe me, they'll probably be less biased. A dutchie

More urban vibe than some of the other shops as an american coming from new york it felt immediately familiar some of the best bud with heavy hitting strains. Staff was solid though a little more lax in their cleaning

I’ve been to many other Kadinsky coffeshops and all were good, but this branch deserves a poor rating because of “rude staff” and bad service. Music was also really boring.

Kadinsky is definitely my favourite coffeeshop in amsterdam. No matter what location. Staff was always friendly and helpful, it was very clean and you are even able to charge your phone while sitting down!

Had high hopes for this place, it was lovely inside, really nicely done out, like a high end bar, but the atmosphere was whack. The staff were so weird, the tall bald guy stared at us awkwardly until we left, and the curly haired girl who served us had the worst attitude ever, proper rude, I’ve literally never had anyone look at me with so much hate, either they can’t handle their own weed or they just hate foreigners (we’re British). The girl refused to speak English even though I’m pretty sure she could. Just weird really, we smoked quickly and left because they were bumming us out! Better coffee shops that I can recommend are - Amnesia, The Store Coffee shop, and also Bluebird - all really nice, friendly, happy chilled vibes!

Great little'local' coffee shop, hidden away on a side street. Often relatively quiet, compared to the tourist hot-spots. Helpful, friendly staff who will help with any questions and a nice chilled vibe. I'm not experienced to comment on the selection or quality, but it worked for me! Did I mention the coffee is pretty good too?

Straight off the plane and straight into this place, good selection of weed, neps was lovely, you can buy your weed then nip over the alley to get a beer and smoke in the air conditioned pods. 2 pints was 10 Euro. Laid back happy service. Lovely vibes

Great small place. Good service and nice people. good bundle deals. Eclectic crowd and a bit too crowded for my taste. Smoked good sativa and went to my way. Would i come back? If i am in the area shure l why not. But is it my favorite new place? Not realy.

I first visited in 1989 and it immediately felt 'comfortable', I'm sure you know that all too rare feeling when your brain recognises it! Anyway, back then I sat reading, smoking and eating the most amazing Choc chip cookies, as big as the head of a small child, I would imagine, if they had heads like large cookies. Today its more the lure of a pinball machine and the still same super friendliness quality in the staff working there. Happy discussing various products in line with what I wanted. Didn't try and upsell, in fact was critical of a couple. All something you appreciate when you're not 'green behind the ears' and making your first visit to tour the area's fine coffee establishment, most having their own roasts and blends. Quite the craft industry in civilised countries that have started the slow process to ridding the manmade laws that hinder progress. Industrial hemp production would open up so many opportunities...I digress. It's a great little place to pop in, grab a cold drink or a decent coffee, Medicate and then head off. It's small in case I wasn't clear. Not really star*ucks lounge all day using Wi-Fi over a single coffee friendly, but that's not why you'd go there, right?
