To start off, I never leave negative reviews but this place didn’t really make us comfortable as tourists. When asking if we could smoke upstairs and where the upstairs is, the employee directed us to the washroom and joked about us in Dutch to his colleague. Also made me take my hat off when we entered which is fine but overall the vibe made us very uncomfortable. Would not recommend to any tourists.

Was there yesterday. Have been many times and like the quality and space… BUT some girl working there yesterday gave me 1.2 g short of what I paid. I always weigh purchases after at home. Never happened before. I paid for 5 g (55 euros) of super silver haze. I’ll add she was rather an unpleasant person as well.

Tweed Kamer is a long time coffeeshop in the center of Amsterdam, right next door to the most famous cookie shop in town. Following the pandemic, this shop is "to go" only now, but I had been coming here since the late 1990's. The special cakes here are among the highest quality you will find in Amsterdam. They taste great and work phenomenally. Just keep in mind that 0.3g equates to 300mg for those who are used to working in mg's. This is also one of the few remaining places where you can still obtain old school Dutch strains like AK-47 and Jack Herer at very reasonable prices. Very professional staff, great gear. Just miss being able to have a seat and watch the cookie line walk past.

When I waklked into Tweed Kamer the guy behind the counter told me to "take off my hat in the shop". There are numerous other high quality cannabis coffeeshops close to this one to visit in Amsterdam without the power trip and attitude. Consider yourself warned.

A wide range of items to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful with a very good base line of knowledge. A little small but sufficient for the general operation to be workable. Well presented with digital menus as well making it easy to navigate the produce. Prices are also in line with local outlets. They also have a sister café on the outskirts approx 15 mins walk from the shop near Amsterdam Central Station.

Was there today and was looking for some good priced quality hash. I asked if the cheaper ones will start to bubble if you put a lighter at it. One of the staff did overreact a bit and telling me I dont have to expect much from the cheapest one and yeah of course I'm not expecting a full melt hash, I was just looking for a good Preis/Leistung as we say in germany. So I bought the 5€ King Hassan probably marocco, which for the price is really really good, when you put a lighter at it, it will start slightly to bubble and I tried one of the 10€ produced in NL, when you put a lighter to that you can clearly see how it starts to bubble, really good amount of oil in it I really can recommend their hash menu, fair prices for good quality But please treat every customer friendly, even if they ask for the lower priced products first :)

This was my place of peace and I loved everything! Now they‘re just greedy, only offer takeaway and you can‘t even smoke there anymore! The heart and soul is gone! Really sad!

Hi I went there twice a day for a week way back in 2011 when I told them my time was up and was leaving the next day and I had to leave my hash pipe behind the guy that was working then said he would keep it for me until I had a chance to return I think that was very nice of him here’s a little hint when looking for the best hashish ask them what the staff smokes

I was looking for a good quality sativa hash at a reasonable price. I had been and left several shops empty handed but felt Tweedes quality and price were both very good (lemon haze hash €8/g) The staff that served me was also friendly and patient- something that seems to be increasingly rare in Amsterdam. The building is also nice. Clean, well maintained and a classy look without going over the top. I recommend

This was the first weed shop I went to in Amsterdam and it was great! I got a pre roll of some type of sativa and a few space cakes that were delicious and quite strong.

Come here for years. Walked in and told to take my cap off. I explained I had just finished a bout of chemotherapy and keeping my cap on is important as I've lost my hair.....he laughed and shouting insults as we left the coffeeshop. Horrible staff and the black guy found it funny I had cancer. Thanks but no thanks

Staff were unreal, explained everything, friendly and full of advice and recommendations, by day 3 the girl knew our order, free condiments and drinks In abundance, can not recommend the place enough

The space cakes are delicious and have strong taste. It was the first time space cakes did work. Follow the advice and eat only half, it will hit you in an hour!

Love the place, although space is limited, it feels more alive than all others. Their Hash and sativa is top notch, and they serve really good coffee. Staff is always professional and efficient in serving clients, and will gladly help if you ask for guidance. Side note: 1) Despite being a tourist visiting a couple of times a year, im almost treated like regulars! Simply by remember my face. 2) Probably the only place i’ve walked into trying to refuse my tip (i only had a 5, which is why he asked me more than 4 times if im sure)

Although they’re only takeaway for now, they still get 5 stars for service, selection, and attitude. Their bubble gum was a good take on q classic strain. Absolutely give this place a try!

The space cakes were great. €10 each. They tasted quite strong - but the effect was very good ! Good advice when we bought it from the shop, the staff were very helpful.

Super kind staff. Calmly informed us and asked us what we wanted. There was a big heat wave and the store offered us a complementary cold beverage after ordering. There was a nice and calm vibe. Definitely recommend.

Easily one of the best coffee shops in the city. Not the easiest place to find but well worth it. Super cozy interior. Fantastic menu with only the highest quality merchandise. I've been visiting this place for the last 20 years. Mostly local clients. That is a bonus in my opinion.

Very small but cosy coffeeshop with a posh interior. The budtenders there tend to be very kind and helpful. The menu is good but not amazing. Can't go wrong with Amsterdam genetics space cakes!

Overpriced and was also racially profiled. Asian guy working behind the counter asked me (i’m black) to take off my hat even though there was already a white person in there who had their hat on. It’s okay if that’s the rule but at least enforce it equally. If you’re black steer clear of this place. even if you’re not steer clear, for the prices they charge you can find way better weed/edibles elsewhere.

Replaces Boerejongens as my favourite store for Dutch flowers. The staff are friendly, professional and even offered a drink on the house. Even the products felt equally good, if not better than other Amsterdam Genetics Stores

Disgusting service. Terrible experience here. Not accomodating at all to parents and incredibly rude/judgemental when asking for assistance to not go inside the shop with my baby asleep in her pushchair. I have never been so insulted in my entire life! I smoke nowhere near my child, not that it's their business, and to receive the attitude and comments while just trying to get something for that night has really shocked me. I won't be coming here again and I highly recommend you to avoid this place too. Much better coffeeshop just down the street. They came out to serve me, said how cute my little one is and provided a great experience.

Best place in Netherlands for buying hash by far dont buy from another place, normally, hash in netherlands is wack, but here they have some bomb hash like fat kids cake (8-9€/g) that is crazy cheap comparing to other qualities that they be selling all around NL. Ps: Im spanish i know what im talking about

My favorite shop in Amsterdam best overall vibe, best music, best coffee and the best consumables. Staff was great laid back and very pleasant. Overall our favorite place to stop in for a coffee and a smoke before planning our days or when coming back from running about the netherlands. A must visit for anyone who will be in the city and looking for a spot to hangout for a bit. Sole drawback is seating is very limited but overall due to location its normal to be able to find a spot to sit as long as your willing to mingle.

I really felt very welcomed here, the hosts are so incredibly welcoming. Although the place was crowded and I spent only about 10 euros, the host messed up with great dedication to find us a place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Such a delicious and inviting atmosphere, good people, one thing more than rarely to be found in those times and in the so desecrated and secularized society we live today.

Best coffee shop that we went to...the other places seemed overwhelming. This spot was a softer place and more chill. The lady up front was very helpful and we got edibles and some good weed as well and we had the exact night we wanted with the goods and the had some Frittes afterwards. You wont be disappointed

Popped in yesterday on a flying visit, wanted to buy some roach/ filter material, the vending machine was broken, so the lady kindly made up a bag full for me and gave them to me for free. What wonderful service from a lovely lady. I will be back for sure :)

Super friendly employees! One woman in particular even recommended my partner and I a insider beach spot to got visit and it was beautiful. Besides really comfortable place to smoke and lastly the best coffee i drank in Amsterdam. Thanks to the staff! We will definitely come by next time.

A great place! The weed was amazing and stronger than I expected, so I didn't have the best time of my life, but it was clearly my mistake to smoke too much at one time. The owner was extraordinaly nice - he offered me sugar to help with my situation and took care of us as best as he could at the busy rush time. Thank you so much once again and I'm sorry to cause you trouble! Unfortunately I have to admit I behaved a bit like a stereotypical tourist, but the owner was more than nice and helpful :)

Were there same day 2 times, first time everything was wonderful with nice team. Another time guy who called him as host tried to show his power "order here or look there", "order drink or don't sit here", despite of guys who were sitting during both our stays without drinks for hours. One of my absolute favorite spots to hit up in Amsterdam every time I come through! Great selection, relaxing and hip vibe, and a great staff! I particularly appreciate how they advocate for a safe consumption and use of cannabis. Small space, but well used. Definitely worth grabbing a coffee and enjoying a smoke before taking off, if you have the chance.

Having been here before in 2004 and 2006 I knew this was a local favorite for cannabis and hash. Figured I’d head back for more of the same. Shop and bud tenders were great but the cannabis was just average. I opted for just 1 gram and a space cake. Neither were very memorable. Sad but unsure if I’ll be back.

The owners were really kind, informed and available for all sorts of doubts, music is great and relaxing making it the perfect mood for a chilling experience. Prices were low and quality was good.

One of the most cozy and typical coffee shops in the city centre. Nice hash and weed. They also have some great choices from Amsterdam genetics, which is the best. Also the caffetteria it is good. 4 stars because it is really small and can be too loud and crowded.

HELLO there this coffeshop tveede kamer near spui sell brix substances in their weed smell like parfumed and taste very bad headache after smoking bad mood. This is bad weed. I have tested specialy many coffeshops in center of amsterdam and around but the quality of weed all the coffeshops is very poor bad in whole amsterdam lots of parfumed weed lots of brix in weed also pieces of glas in weed be very careful what you get. Im very expirienced smoker and choosy so i recognize it easily than others newbies. Amsterdam is no more the destination is just tourist trap with bad quality weed and tourist prices
