If you're lucky the blonde girl will be there and she's super sweet. If not, you'll meet the manager who clearly needs some help to learn how to treat costumers. Good luck!

One of the best Coffeeshops for me. Friendly, helpful, smiley bud tenders. Great place to relax any time of the day, definitely going back. In my opinion what makes or breaks a coffeeshop is the bud tenders & the weed this place has both and more.

Loved the place, small, quiet. I've been in Asterdam for a week and went 4 days there. They have something to eat, coffee and teas are good and lighting and music is always really chill. Good attention from both clerks, they were polite and friendly.

Beat coffeeshop I visited. It is located perfectly away from touristic centres so it isn't too crowded. The staff is super chill and helpful and the place actually looks like a cozy coffeeshop.

Residential, relaxed and feels more at home with outside seating next to a over the water tiny house, canal crossing and train. When busy expect to wait but worth the chill outside if available. Bit pricey hence the 4 altar but that outside spot… morning, evening or late night. Perfect for me as a cigarette smoker (but I respectfully smoke and do not chain smoke in peoples faces)

This is one of the best places i ever went. Out of the centre. Not so crowdy. I had visited this coffee shop 2011,2012 and now. Recommend it for sure!

Been to this Coffeeshop several times. This year it seems to have changed hands and if possible has improved a great range of products and a new serving area and a fancy new paying station. Well worth a visit.

The last couple of times I visited Amsterdam, I visited the very popular coffee shops in the centre. I'm glad that on this occasion I decided to try somewhere new. De Overkant was unpretentious and relaxed. The staff were really friendly and approachable and their personal recommendations were really appreciated. The prices were also very reasonable and the quality was great, so we went back a couple more times during our trip. I really recommend visiting this place.

Top quality bud, what I bought here was some of the nicest looking I got during my weekend trip. The shop is in a great location by the botanic garden and the space inside is lovely to have a smoke in. The staff member I dealt with was friendly and noticeably acted like they cared about the customers more than some other shops I've visited. I will treasure the memory of stumbling on this gem on a sunny Sunday, and will hopefully be back again sooner rather than later. Keep up the great work to the owners, and to anyone thinking about going here you should just do it already!

Friendly environment where you can relax and have a chat or play some of the few games they have available (scrabble, cards, chess, checkers) good prices on products. The female staff that was serving us was also lovely.

Absolutely outstanding coffeeshop. Small, intimate, welcoming, accommodating, warm and friendly. After years of visiting the 'Dam, I'm gutted to have only found this place on my last day recently. The complete opposite of the commercialisation of the centraal coffeesnops; just warm, welcoming, friendly people, awesome weed, welcome to just stop in and spend some time. Truly the place to be, and relax

We've been to quite a few shops throughout Amsterdam and this one was our favorite! Great selection, really friendly staff and the area/neighbourhood was so lovely; peaceful, friendly people, great scenery. We're from Canada and have high standards for quality, this shop has genuinely good product, unlike a lot of other shops. I'd recommend dropping in!

Good product Great atmosphere Tragic service. I've been going amsterdam ATLEAST 3 times a year for a good few years now, I had never seen such an unorganised menu which is no issue at all but leads me into my anecdote. I asked a simple question about what I was looking for, as I could not quite see the specific menu item and was met with such sarcasm and intrigue into my supposed stupidity. Product was brilliant and it was exactly was I was trying to find. Still makes no sense to me I mean the item was literally on the menu she could have just met my question with decency- even a stumbling "yea" would have been adequate

Lovely coffeshop, outside of the busy centre tourist areas. Sells a good range of weed, hash, pollen and edibles. Pre rolled joints are nicely loaded, unlike some coffeeshops closer to town. Serves excellent coffee, good music and the staff are really helpful and smiley

An off beat, fashion and art styled small but excellent coffeeshop. Really nice and helpful budtender and a very nice choices of relaxing, positive high products. Very recommended if you are in the area. Botanical garden just across the water, and the zoo is also practically next door in Artis.

After smoking for around 12 years ...I recommend Neville's haze. It's fantastic. Great prices. And the hot chocolates are great. The edibles are also very good.

Great shop, just far enough away from the town centre to avoid the queues! The staff are great, knowledgeable and chatty, the forbidden fruit weed and lemon haze hash are to die for! If you fancy a quiet smoke and coffee, check it out, you wont be disappointed !
