Het Ballonetje is a unique place and had a cool atmosphere. The budtender seemed a little surly, but we all have bad days. Bought some Super Boof which was top notch quality. I'd come here again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't trek out there especially to visit.

Hopping around Amsterdams famous coffee shops. Found this gem online and proceeded to visit it with friends. The staff was very friendly and gave us guidelines on how best to enjoy their products. Ended up having a blast for the rest of the day. They allowed us to stay and get the hit going, other tables were smoking tobacco even if it's not allowed which forced us to vacate earlier. Would have wanted to stay longer.

Very nice coffeeshop! Friendly service, we had a few prerolls my wife and I and envoyed a few hot chocolates and soft drinks. Great vibe, we sat at the 2nd floor on a small table and spent a few hours smoking, chilling, it was great. As a tourist, I prefer this type of chill places located out from the city center, I would 100% recommend.

One of the best in Amsterdam. A longtime neighborhood place, the staff is friendly and helpful. Take my advice: Smoke up on the higher, second level of this place. Great neighborhood views. Just remember, if your coffee is running low or you need a new drink, you have to walk down the stairs to order and take it back up with you—they don't serve, as the waitstaff will remind you.

Cute little coffee shop, only small number of seats but was never too busy when me or my boyfriend went. The young lady who served us our spliffs was really nice. No space cakes or edibles but we didn’t mind.

Best weed in Amsterdam that I’ve found so far. I spent a lot of time in the US and often feel like the weed here doesn’t get me half as high as I was in Colorado or California. But Ballonnetje comes through! Most baked I’ve been in a minute - thank you x

Its such a cute little place, i love the aesthetics of the whole shop. You can buy cold or hot drinks and sit inside and smoke your stuff. No tobacco though! The music they play and the stuff they sell is both really good. Staff is also very friendly and helpful with advice. Overall a lovely little place to drink something inside and chill with your stuff! :)

The real spirit of Coffeeshop, the staff is really cool and very nice advice. Good product, the pure kush is smooth and tasty ! Second time I took Ice Cream Cake pre rolled one, no regret ! Pricey, but I didn't find any better coffeeshop. I'm not used to sit inside, so I'm just reviewing the weed quality, which is one level higher than any other shops around. What tou get is pretty consistent within the batches as well. Oh, and they got lovely customer service. No need to feel ashamed that you don't speak local language.

Their hash brownies are amazing and delicious. Only need one bite and you’re in a hash haze. Dread to think if I ate the whole thing how high I’d be but I’m sensitive so there we go. Helps me sleep. 4 stars only because the service is a bit indifferent but again that could be me and my vibe too.

They have nice strains of weed there but the employees and the setting does not make you feel welcome at all. The best thing is the location since it is very close to the university, the prices are similar to the rest of the area (slightly more expensive). Won't come back due to having negative experiences twice which could have easily been dissolved by the staff (which they really did not care about doing)

This is a great coffeeshop, only losing 1 star because you have to buy their product, even if you are also buying drinks. It’s convenient to visit before the Zoo (Artis) and has a nice atmosphere and high ceiling so it feels very open. Their own products were very nice, just would be nicer if that weren’t a caveat for entry. It’s easy, as a visitor, to end up with more product that you can use.

I haven’t been to any other coffeeshops in Amsterdam but I don’t want to after having such a welcoming experience at Het Ballonnetje. Staff was so kind, talkative, welcoming and helpful when I came in. Wanted to talk and were having fun and enjoying themselves. Customers were also very friendly and it was a very welcoming environment with very nice and unique music. Coffee is decent and they have cold drinks as well. Be sure to tip and enjoy yourself!

Quality is paramount, I didn't smoke one black ash or chemical taste sample, I smoked 7 strains from the grass menu, all have been top shelf!
