The black lady working as a cashier should learn some manners. Yes, I did not know Maastricht has it's own policy, but I it's not an excuse to be arrogant and harsh towards me. Besides, I've been living and studying here for a year now. Do I really have to get a permit just to access coffeshop in one city? First expierience like that in a coffeshop. P.S- Maybe the coffeshops could collect all of the angry reviews and send it to a mayor, it's quite unwelcoming.

Im absolutely shoked to see what happened today. 2 days ago i got 2g of their new "legal" weed in the red, vaccum sealed plastic bags. today i wanted to open one of them as i find it completely empty. and i checked if there were any holes or similar.nothing. they literally just sold me an empty plastic bag for 10/11 euros, which is sad. however the store is not to blame as they do not pack that kind of weed. still im shoked to see that there is no confirmation of the new legal weed bags are full or not. 5/10 would not buy the new weed again,just because the bags are not see through and you never know if its full or not.

Love Mary Jane! It was the first coffeeshop I went to after moving to Maastricht and it remains my favorite coffeeshop in the city. The staff are super friendly and the weed is always great and for a very good price.

It's likely one of the best coffeshops in Maastricht. More or less the same menu as Mississippi and Missouri coffeshops. If you are not Dutch, don't try to get in.

They don't like foreigners. They let me in once but after that they said I needed something else but I already bought with them once and now they wont let me back in. Makes no sense. Very rude as well.

My go to coffeeshop in Maastricht, lovely staff, good weed and Mary Jane has an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else. I’ve read through many of the 1 star reviews and quite frankly cannot understand the confusion. It’s not the coffeeshops fault you cannot get in, It is not their decision that you have to be able to prove that you are a Dutch resident in order to be allowed inside. They are just following the law and regulations, keep this in mind before you go posting a bad review of a business. Is it the coffeeshops fault that you cannot use Google and do your own research in 2023? Grow up.

Helpful to people with no (not much) experience, explaining what's best for what experience. Nice atmosphere and also great milkshakes. Note that you do need to show evidence of being a resident in order to get inside.

They're discriminating against EU citizens. Comparing to Amsterdam, they do not let you in, if you don't have a resident permit in The Nederland's.

The quality of the weed is rather good and prices are somewhat the same compared to the rest of Maastricht. They have a large menu with a great variety in pre made joints. The staff is super friendly and helpful when you have questions and on the inside the place is very nice to sit down and have a drink and a smoke. Got some nice GSC there.

Seems like it might be a good place but it's only open for Maastricht residents and ID is required. Sad! However, they were helpful in directing us to where the rules are not as restrictive.

It's a good coffeeshop, prices are a little high but student friendly for sure. Bud is good and they are happy to guide you if you want to try a new strain.

Good product at reasonable prices. Does not feel like a tourist trap like some other places and the staff was good. Like everywhere now you need to be a resident or an active student to be able to get in. Good place to chill so go ahead without hesitation if you want to spend some quality time and relax.
