I don’t partake very often, but I figured since I was in Amsterdam, why not? The young man was very helpful and provided me with a brownie and only one gram of marijuana. He gave me a lighter and filters for free! I didn’t see the tattooed lady another customer encountered. I was also advised of local laws, which are very loose compared to the USA! :-). Wonderful shopping experience! I would be a regular if I lived close by. :-) thank you!!

You go to the same coffeshop, straight 3 years in a row, I can say every day! And when you ask the guy for grinder, so I can make one joint in the shop, he tells you agressive NO and walks out the backdoor. Respect for customers 0. I guess I'll be buying weed from different place

I have been here about 80 times so far and never seen a single smile from any of the staff. The bud is okay but slightly overpriced, Amnesia should be €9/g at most. Today was the last day I shop here as they finally started skimming as well, see the photo of the “gram” I bought.

Shop looks nice, prices seem decent but the customers service is appalling & it was due to that I didn’t even bother purchasing anything here. Woman at the counter was cold and didn’t even say hello or smile, also seemed reluctant to let me see or smell any of the buds. Would only go here if I can’t be bothered to walk to the coffee shop 10 mins down the road

The hash never try here but the weed if you don't spend 14 euros per gram it's grass no weed the workers also some times no good they want your money but no give you a good service you can found street dealers with more education and better treat. I write this after buy 10 times minimun so is not a hot moment I write the first idea I have. I don't understand how this coffee shop represent Amsterdam Genetics. On my list is the worst I try.

Good prices and great hours. I've been a regular for two years now and appreciate the cleanliness of the shop, as well as the increasing friendliness of the staff. A warm hello and a smile go a long way in ensuring positive customer experience :)

Its a little bit of a trap here because you got a few people saying there’s good flower here but they are just normal weed smoker you can’t listen to them becuse They get high from anything . So this being said the quality is ok for a non experienced smoker . But if you know weed then you know this is not an option .We all know the reason we come here it’s because it’s local . There’s only 2 coffeeshops in the area . But FFS . This is the third time they serve customers in front of me . They care only about selling stuff and don’t look after people who really spend money here . I spend a few hundred EVERY MONTH . They still serve cumsoters in front of me … Unacceptable. And let’s be real if you live in Zaandam there’s coffe shop THE SQUAD 10 min walk from The Headlines. Go there you’re going to thank me later

I flew to Zaandam to visit a very good friend of mine who I’ve known for a good number of years, I asked him where can I get some lovely decent smoke from, to which he replied Headlines Coffeeshop. On arrival it looks very nice on the outside and I was welcomed very politely and made to feel at ease by the young Turkish guy, he was exceptional, to then having a blonde woman with face tattoos, come from the back and give me 1. Attitude 2. Dirty looks which as a customer makes me feel like I’m not welcome and did make me not come back until the Turkish man was working on his own, she also didn’t understand my order and when corrected on my order, I was met with such a foul attitude and the way she spoke was not acceptable being in the customer service/ hospitality industry I know you do not speak to customers in such a foul manner. In my opinion she made my experience not very enjoyable, the Turkish man and rest of the staff were brilliant. I didn’t respect how as well Dutch public were getting treated with respect but because I was English she didn’t show that same respect to me so I felt very discriminated against. Lastly but not least, I do think if this female wasn’t working in this shop you would get so much more business. I’m a big smoker and bud chaser and did love the options of everything on the menu just this lady made my visit to the shop very unenjoyable. I will add the Turkish man did tell her she can’t do that and to go back out the back. Apart from this experience it is a lovely coffeeshop and except the blonde lady with face tattoos all the other staff were exceptional. In my opinion customers should be treated with respect as they’re the ones putting money in your tills and keeping your business going. If you have a bad attitude or can’t be bothered to deal with customers in a professional way, you shouldn’t be in this industry/trade. I truly believe if this blonde lady wasn’t working there your coffee shop, would attract so much more custom.

Appreciate the clean store and convenient location. However, improvements are needed in service and product quality. All staff is rude and impolite, which makes the shopping experience unpleasant. The overall feeling is that you're unwelcome and that they have better things to do with their time. Also, recent products haven't matched previous quality standards. I noticed a steady decline in quality for a while now, especially for their sativa strains. Hoping the management will do something to enhance the customer experience, as I often bike to Hunter's in the North just to avoid the overall discomfort of shopping here.

Honestly their number 1 product was fire and at a reasonable price but the rest was mid, the staff can't even break a smile or give general chit chat. But the product alone is worth going.

Service is very bad they give you zero respect and also they not onece give to me lemon haze insted of amnesia im there two or three time per week always i coming with girlfriend and both of us take 5 grama everytime so thats 10grams two or three times per week and you dont get any respect from people who works there. I was i in coffeshopes all around Nederland only i didnt visit Alkmar,Utrecht and Groinigen and for sure from all coffeeshops this stuff is the worst stuff on world.. if you can avoid this wanna be Coffeeshop and give your money to people who really deserve it.

It is with great disappointment that I must express my dissatisfaction with the abysmal customer service provided by a Headlines coffeeshop in Zaandam. As an avid cannabis enthusiast, I have visited numerous establishments in the city, but my encounters at this particular establishment were nothing short of infuriating. During my initial visit, I was met with a female staff member who seemed more interested in avoiding eye contact and conversation than providing any sort of service. Her rudeness and unfriendliness were palpable, making me question if I had inadvertently intruded upon a private gathering rather than a place of business. Adding insult to injury, the staff members openly discussed our presence in Dutch, leaving us feeling both uncomfortable and alienated. Regrettably, my desire to give this place another chance led me to a second visit. To my disbelief, the male staff member on duty intentionally served us a different product than what we had specifically requested. This act of deceit was not revealed until we returned to inquire about the discrepancy, leaving us dumbfounded by the lack of transparency and honesty. The absence of any apology further exemplified the sheer disregard this establishment holds for its customers. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional conduct in an industry that thrives on customer satisfaction and enjoyment. Amsterdam is renowned for its coffeeshop culture, and there are plenty of establishments that uphold the values of hospitality, respect, and quality. As a consumer, I have the right to expect a basic level of courtesy and competence, both of which were utterly absent during my interactions with this coffeeshop. Given the limited number of coffeeshops in the area, I would strongly advise anyone seeking a positive and welcoming experience to steer clear of this establishment. Traveling further afield to find a more deserving coffeeshop is undoubtedly a more worthwhile endeavor than subjecting oneself to the disappointment and frustration that awaits at this location. To the management of this establishment, I implore you to reflect upon the impact your staff's behavior has on your reputation and the overall experience of your customers. It is imperative that you reevaluate your customer service practices and instill a sense of professionalism and respect within your team. In conclusion, my encounters at this Zaandam coffeeshop were marred by a dismissive and discourteous attitude from the staff, along with deliberate deception. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an enjoyable and welcoming cannabis experience.

The service is terrible, especially for tourists ! Definitely don’t expect to be spoken to with any kind of respect or receive a smile, the weed is okay for the price but can certainly get better quality & prices throughout the city & Amsterdam itself . Doesn’t let you look at the weed & gets pretty aggressive if you touch it or ask any questions other than how much. Shocking first experience of a coffee shop. I understand there may be certain rules that differ within shops themselves but for somebody who doesn’t understand the language or what those rules are. I’d advise going somewhere different as could ruin your full experience !!

Best quality you can get in the city, for the best price. Staff is generally welcoming and nice but don't expect a smile, they care for you in other ways. Exceptionally itemed menu, amazing cookies.

I went to this place a few days ago and the service was terrible. The guy at the register was extremely unpleasant. I made a mistake when I asked for what I wanted and instead of being helpful he was highly condescending and inpatient. I tried to order again so I could leave as soon as possible but he wouldn't stop escalating the argument. He screamed at me in front of the rest of the clients and my friends and insulted me in Dutch thinking I wouldn't understand, when I confronted him about this he denied it and tried to intimidate me as if he was looking for a fight. This was the most unprofessional staff I've ever had to deal with, I'm not going back, plus the weed selection was small and the prices too high compared to other places.

Very bad service, the workers/owners don't care about you they just want you to buy their trim and get out asap, very unfriendly, poor quality as well except on some rare occasions. I put 1 star because it is the only one open til midnight but I would 100% rather go somewhere else. Hope they improve one day

This coffeeshop just got restored, much better than before I have to say but sadly the people working there are still the same. Very rude employees, they look always grumpy and sloppy, they never say “hello”, “thank you” or “goodbye”. They always have the same kind of weed and hash since almost 7 years and you can only pay cash. I go there only when I have no other choices. However the quality isn’t that bad and the promos are convenient.

The staff were friendly, the locals not so much. It kinda felt like visiting a strangers house and accidentally using their favourite cup. Not relaxing to smoke in. However it has a busy takeaway, so watch out for the scooters flying around this cul de sac.

Very good coffeeshop. You can smoke everything inside from bong to vaporizer or a joint. The weed quality is also very good and i can recommend you Ghost for 14€.

If you are staying in zaandam then this is the easiest coffeshop to locate as it is located in the center but in a small dodgy looking street off main street. Trust me it's not only the location that is dodgy, the local people inside feel as if they hate you for being there. Which creates this negative atmosphere as all the locals keep staring at you and this feeling you get as soon as you walk in and try to speak to the bartender. Bad vibes at a coffeshop is a very bad sign. Also they don't offer great choice of "merchandise" stay away from it unless you didn't get the chance to go to Amsterdam which is 10 minutes away using the train from the nearby station.

The shop was a while take away but is has changed you can buy your cannabis smoke it inside at a nice sphere ,music, watching Tv with privacy ,no annoying people... believe it has good quality with weed and hasj would prefere it. By the way the place is central but it on a blind alley way behind the shopping center if you enter the street only coffeeshop headlines is there at the end no other shops.

It jused to be a good and busy shop, nice owners, with the best prices and good afgane. Today the afgane is uselly very bad, and taste like handcream. Still they can have good products, if they just kept the dogs away from weeds. Sometimes the service was lousy, especially with the counterservant with th playstation, he kept you waiting for minutes. The old cafe sphere is gone, now you just can buy at a window, but not smoke or sit down with a cup of coffee. To bad...
