I took my first ever dab in family first. The staff were wonderful, demonstrated how to use everything and we're extremely friendly. Helped me out when it got a bit intense. Will definitely be returning on my next trip

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Amsterdam. Amazing staff, great music and so much more. Yeah the weed may be expensive but every other one is too at least with this one its guaranteed quality. Also they have dab rigs that you can use if you buy wax or rosin from them. 10/10

Found this hidden gem in Amsterdam – Coffeeshop The Family First. If you're into the Mary Jane scene, this spot's a must-visit! The staff is on another level, dropping knowledge bombs on strains like it's a cannabis lecture. Legit Cali strains? They got 'em! -- and not just a few.. i've never seen so many cali strains in Amsterdam yet. It's a cozy joint with a short wait, but the quality is unmatched. We have been in Amsterdam 5 days, I’ve been to Amsterdam a ton of times. I’m a big smoker as I’m from Colorado. When walking to it wasn’t extremely busy but not dead. We waited a few minutes and then got to the bar. The kid behind the counter was rude and not nice. He then carded us. I am 45 with a beard of gray my girl is 35. We have been to about 10 shops just that day. I said to the guy, why does that matter? And he proceeded to say he has to card anyone that looks under 18, I’m a 45 year old male, I don’t look 18 or anywhere near it. I’ve never been caressed by anyone. It seemed like this kid just didn’t like Americans. I have never been treated so badly for being from America. Again, I smoke multiple times a day everyday, I’ve been smoking weed before this kid was even bored. Realize you are in a tourist market full of all countries, not cool.

Unfriendly staff. Made my face going red after asking for my ID while in a big row. while i clearly don't have a babyface as a 26 year old. Lol. This shop was recommended to me but i can tell you that it is not for it's friendlyness. Much more better shops ! The KOSHER smelled good but smoked bad.

Came here in June and have a very nice visit! The staff are incredibly caring and kind. I had a two shots of adrenaline before I came here and the staff were kind enough to roll for me as my hands were shaking! So thanks for that Family First! I really appreciated that and the flower was amazing!

A very good coffeshop very very very good hash and the rosin omg you have to smoke it. Its expensive but when you first smoke it you dont want to smoke anything else. The only problem was the bathroom sink its all very clean and that but there was an misfunction of the sink which led to extrem pressure on the water its almost like a pressure washer but excepr that everything was top

to my fellow female smokers: the clientele is mostly male at night and they don't seem so friendly either. We waited for our turn but no one served us even when we politely asked. They basically pretended we were not there. I don't really know who works there during the day, but definitely they were not professional at night.

I love sitting at the window in here. The weed was top tier. The guys behind counter were very nice. But in no rush at all. They were so laid back at times I'd have sworn they were vertical because the qué took forever to get down. Seemed to be one person serving and one dancing/smoking/chatting. The ashtrays were emptied quickly and stuff tho. But the ques can be a bit much. Again the guys were lovely and the smoke was top. But I'd like to not have to stand for half an HR waiting to get a refill of juice n buy more g. That was the only off putting thing here. But by far the nicest stone I had all holiday. Ps moonrock joint sent my husband into a state. Haha lethal. Oh n that lad drew was in when I was there

i visited this coffeeshop last month and it’s my favourite ever coffeeshop in Amsterdam. i have visited Amsterdam 5x now and have always been to different coffeeshops, but i can say hands down this is the best coffeeshop in Amsterdam and i WILL BE RETURNING!!!!, the staff are so so so kind & helpful! (which can be rare in amsterdam when you’re a tourist) the bud is very good & strong, the coffeeshop has a nice relaxing vibe with plenty of seats and a nice big window which overlooks a canal! 1000% recommend this coffeeshop to anyone who’s new to dam or just wants a good sm0king spot with good stuff ❤️

Bought three space cake brownies, ate two of them since I have a higher tolerance than my friend who had one and never in his life smoked and they didn't do anything. Very disappointed that no real edibles can be bought in Amsterdam.

Recommended coffeeshop, service with a handicapped and inviting vibe (unlike the coolness characterized by this area) A shortcoming I experienced that there is no hot drink sale there but only cold (those who know understand that you must have hot chocolate with the weed

Came for a first visit the other day, really chilled vibes and friendly staff. Small shop so limited seating but we only had to hang around 2 mins for some chairs to clear. Bought some Smarties flower and Champagne hash and both were beautiful.

Lost count of the times I’ve been to Amsterdam over the years and for some reason never been here until this trip. What a shop. From the service to the quality of weed which was second to none all trip ( Runtz was spot on ).Definitely my new favourite. Bud tenders are awesome. Well done Family First. 5 stars all day long.

This shop is one of the best coffee shop in Amsterdam. Staff are super nice and friendly and very helpful. The place is clean and they constantly keeping the place clean after each guest leaves the table. One of the guys that works there makes the best cappuccino and latte, even if you don't smoke , you should go there and just get their latte. Overall A+ for this place and is a must to visit if you go to Amsterdam.

Probably the best menu in town when it comes to exotics and high quality concentrates. This is a coffeeshop for veterans not tourists on their first trip. I only wish the seating area was a bit larger. Great place for getting terps and dab properly. That being said, I did not find it to be a good place for a romantic hangout.

My favorite coffeeshop! I usually pass by for a pre-rolled Firecracker/Moonrock - it lasts many good sessions. Excellent service and fun staff. I try my friends’ favorite coffeeshops and their qualities and service never match to my experiences at Family First. They accept card/no-contact payments :)

Johnny Dabb they have the best Wax selection! Real Cali, but not cheap! Friendly staff with a lot of knowledge! They have some tables to hang out! But here it’s more for the crazy Cali selection! Ask for the new edibles! They have crazy stuff straight from the US…for example Cheetos with 600 mg Awesome!

One of my favorite shops in town. Super friendly staff who make you feel at home. You can score some treasures in here. One of the only places (or maybe the only place) in Amsterdam in which you can borrow a rig. Small and cozy, with a nice location on the Amstel canal, Just around the corner from the Flower Market and Rembrandtplein.

I found this coffeeshop by chance on my 5th visit to Amsterdam and it's one of my new favourites. A very good menu with alot of choice and good service.
