We had an awesome time here! We are Canadian, so we are HUGE potheads, wake and bake daily forever, but on our recent trip to Europe we had to be dankrupt for 2 weeks, so I had the longest t-break of my life before smoking weed again since Canada, at THIS “coffee shop”. I got SOOOOO high! I recommend the White Widow pre roll, “pure” if you want it to be only weed, which is what we did because the other options have tobacco in it, and we don’t smoke tobacco or cigarettes in our group. We’re just potheads. We circled around 3 joints among our group, the 3 of us were obliterated! Mind you, I took a 2 week break from weed because we were travelling other European cities before we got to Amsterdam, because we don’t trust street dealers. So my tolerance was all switched up, this stuff here hit the spot:) The prices are kind of a “lot” because my perspective is from a Canadian tourist, and at the stores in Canada weed is super cheap. Especially when you convert Euro to Canadian Dollar in your head. But this “coffee shop” was a very fun time, lovely dark ambience, super chill spot. Coffee was also nice, staff were friendly in a “European” way lol Tldr: i got really stoned after big t-break

Atmosphere is nice inside. But it is very Over priced! and unfortanley the milk shakes were rubbish! Some of the staff looked like they didn't want to be their or they just hate tourist. Over all not bad but could be better

The ambiance is very nice, the drinks are delicious. However, what really needs to improve significantly is the service. We asked three times if the mess left by the customers before us could be cleared away. Each time, we were told yes, but nothing happened. We ended up sitting at a dirty table for over an hour.

I was so high but the milkshake I had here was still somehow the worst thing I ever drank. Serving tap water with some sugar mixed in would have been superior. Cool vibes though.

Really nice spot. Alway been one of my favorites in Amsterdam. Sometimes you get some odd uncomfortable characters but overall nice place. Really upset they don't sell the t-shirts anymore.

This is a bigger than usual coffee shop with loads of extra seating area and decent sized tables. I think this is because it's not directly in the city centre because the ones that are in the city centre are tiny! It's table service in here which is a nice touch. Toilets are up a flight of very steep steps which can be tricky depending on what you may have consumed! The toilets weren't too bad and at least were stocked with loo roll and there is a lady upstairs who you must pay 50 cents to use the toilet.

Not my first visit to Amsterdam, this year we chose specifically to stay near this coffee shop as it definitely has the best atmosphere we have found. Mostly very friendly staff, good hot chocolate too. Only downside… Toilets could be cleaner!

They forgot my toastie and my water and the toastie was so dry and cold and I ordered an iced coffee and specifically asked whether it was coffee on ice or ice cream. The waiter told me it was iced and then brought me a small glass with something that tasted like molten vanilla ice cream and nothing like coffee. You come hungry, you leave hungry, but the atmosphere is nice and you can bring your own

Amazing atmosphere and even better flower. Slightly more expensive than other shops but the quality of bud is far superior (in my opinion). Prefect place for a casual smoke or trying something crazy (drip stick, noon rocks etc) Staff were very relaxed and pleasant during my visit, milkshakes are a must try. Would definitely go back

if i could give this place 0 stars i would...not only was i laced, but had to be narcan'd on the scene by emergency services! i travelled all the way from the middle of nowhere in Middlesborough, UK, just to get hospitalised! the worst part had to be the lack of Shoo music as I was gettin Narcan'd..

The second you finish your drinks and stop spending money, you’re pressured out of the door. Explained that we’d just spent €30 to the bouncer, which he reluctantly acknowledged. Just moments after, while still obviously angry from the discussion, drinking our pre-bought bottled water was no longer okay. That was met with condescending lectures about running a business and the flaws with allowing patrons to drink their own water, which I will add, is stripping of a basic human right. No consideration was given to any medical conditions which may exist in the group. Completely unwelcoming shop, average staff, arrogant bouncer whom should be sacked for the sake of “the business”. What a farce of an establishment. Wish I could give a lesser rating

Nice, chilled coffee shop with some good herb. Weed costs a bit more than some other places but the atmosphere is one of the best. Probably my favourite place to smoke in Amsterdam. Excellent coffee too

Went there last night and I can honestly say the staff in there are so rude and aggressive! There was a staff member in there (small bald bloke with a piercing between his eyebrows) who was unbelievably aggressive towards me and threatening! The place itself is dirty but has pretty lights. Wouldn't go back purely due to the vile staff and their disgusting attitude towards there paying customers!

Smokey’s is really a landmark for THC lovers. You can bring your own weed, they also have a really good selection and you definitely need to taste their whipped cream hot chocolate. Staff is awesome and you get served at the table.

We went to most coffee shops whilst in Amsterdam but always kept coming back to this one, purely because of the VIBE! It plays cool music and you can just relax in this place. It’s great through the day and on the evening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Amazing coffee and milkshakes, nachos and very kind employees. Only tried the Red Velvet edible here, but it was very good. Prices are OK.

My wife is so loyal to this coffee shop. It is right in the hub of the town, so it gets a lot of attraction - however even being busy, it has a great atmosphere and environment. Located in one of the night life centres in Amsterdam, this coffeeshop offers a nice variety of what you need. Good music, friendly staff, even ID control at the entrances, which is a positive fact in my opinion. They did not serve alcoholic beverages! I’m not sure if that’s a policy or it was only a one time thing. Totally recommended!

A cool coffeeshop right in the middle of Amsterdam. Super busy almost all the time. But has some great staff, coffees and you know what else. Worth the wait if one needs to. Although, it is a little too mainstream and not a very quiet one. I loved it, nonetheless.

Really nice atmosphere, nice drinks and juices, friendly employees and a good place to come to and vibe. Came here with friends, I don't smoke so it was kind of too much smoke in there but at least the doors were open. Nice music.

This place is a tourist trap. It is super dirty. They barely clean your table when you arrive. Everything is super expensive and you also need to pay for the toilets 1 euro. If you don't have cash to pay upfront for the toilets, the old lady you need to wait in line at the bar to pay by card as she refuses to let you go and then you pay. She is super rude. The waiters, one of them smokes cigarettes while serving clients. What a shame and a dirty place to avoid!

Though I went there for just a quick charge on my then-dead phone, as I had just come from London and had arranged a rendezvous at Rembrandt Square, with a friend who'd come to Amsterdam the day before, all I had time to "absorb" was the great coffee and equaly great music on the jukebox (didn't have time to pay attention where it came from), as well as the mandatory smoke puffed away by other patrons. :-)

the nice coffee with a special relaxed atmosphere is always a good place for a relaxed coffee and chill out. in summer you can sit outside. the coffee/shop itself is quite large and comfortable. the service is good and friendly. the quality of the products is very good. the prices are common for Amsterdam.

Nice place, good shakes but service is not do good. Starting from that we had to wait for 30mins to get the waitress to our table and finishing at point when we got cheated by the gentleman who sold us 0.8g of moonrock instead of a gram for 35euros. If you are reading this young man with long face I forgive you ;)

Over 10 years ago - Bachelor Party - group of Americans men visited your establishment several times over a weekend. Remember us? No? What's that? You get tons of Americans visiting all the time and ten years is a long time ago. Okay, sure. But! We remember you and we remember you very fondly. We were so young and full of adventure. If we visited you again - perhaps we can feel that way again. Memories are dreams painted with brighter colours than what reality provides. We lost our youth. We spent it like currency throughout your beautiful city. Any chance we can get some of it back, please? But Smokey Coffeeshop - you have a great place there so you get 5 stars from me.

Best topping for milkshake. Didn't serve nachos after midnight.. I tried to order it... :'( . But in the end my experience was very nice. It's a good place to stay high ;).

First coffee shop we visited here ... nice music, relaxed feel .. bit of a piss take having to pay to use the loo though. Seeing as you're paying over the top prices for coffee and soft drinks at least let the toilet be free to use ! Overall it was an ok place to smoke and relax for a bit ⭐

This was the first coffee shop I visited in Amsterdam. We passed by it and the lit up sign was cliché in a cute way. Inside it reminds me of Bob Marley stoner meets dive bar. It’s really chill, dim lit, and has colorful string lights on the ceiling. There’s a cool vending machine that has snacks and lighters, etc. They also sell pipes which is really nice. The staff was pretty friendly and the music was cool.

As is with any coffeeshop in Amsterdam, this is a smoking joint. We get our joints in many forms - raw, smoke, cookies, brownies. The smell of the shop itself will give us a high. The shop is well decorated and the music is also good. Surprising is, even though people are high, they are well behaved.

My husband and I were nervous to try this place. Once inside it was very smokey, so we sat at the tables outside. We bought a ready rolled joint .It was very nice and relaxing watching people in the street. Staff are very nice and service is good. A mixture of young and old come here. We will come back again to this place.

Was a nice bar to go into and reasonable prices for Amsterdam, however they should make it clearer they do no sell alcohol. As i ordered and was served a beer only at the end to find out it was non alcoholic. Priced the same as a standard beer, if i knew it was non alcoholic i would have ordered a different drink.

Super coop.low key place. The environment waa definitely more hipster hang out type environment. It's a darker establishment. The place plays really good music and serves alcohol as well as other products. Make sure you have some coins on you cause the restroom is .50 euros to use.

Wasn't a bad coffee shop, rather large with outdoor seating, air-con, nice bar, loud music - a good place to go if you like that atmosphere - I prefer the chilled vibe of other coffee shops I went to, rather than the loud 'British pub' sorta vibe I experienced here. However, I would still recommend the place as it was good, not too expensive.

We've been there again last week, and they fcked up brownies! Before they were much much better. "new" version of brownie was mouldy 2 days after we get back home. It doesn't taste so good either, even when eaten at the place. Previous was one of best brownies ever, now it's 1/10. Just because of great Lemon Haze (btw very expensive) there are 2 stars istead of 1. We will look for other place next time in Amsterdam.

We didn't buy weed here but entered the dance floor being high. Its a small floor and the service and music was OK OK but if you are visiting with a group of friends then you would not regret and its placed in a good location.
