Yesterday i visited the shop for the first time. What an amazing menu. I’ve found my go to for the rest of the trip. Thanks nathalie for the recommendations and the great service. 6 stars for you.

Overcharged! Scammed!! Be careful when buying in this shop as asked for a lighter and grinder, charged me for a metal one without telling me and gave me a plastic one! Realised when I looked at the menu and checked on my phone! I went in complain and she try to explain she has just started her shift. Sorted quickly. Left nasty in my mouth after this experience! Would avoid this shop in the future. Stop ripping tourists off.

Affordable prices and a good menu. Only thing is you need to pay a drink per person to stay there + a lighter is €2 while other places lend them for free. they were a bit rude in telling us this information. but overall good experience

I said three times that I didn't want Coke because I couldn't tolerate sugar, and they still charged me because everyone was buying it. And the tables nearby are empty. They also have a problem when they press the weight forcefully. There are much nicer places.

Great time, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff! It was the first time for my husband, so we asked for suggestions to buy something light to chill. It was excellent and he really enjoyed the experience. We will be back next time we're in Amsterdam ✨️

I didn't eat here. Relatively small but very comfortable and one of the best menu's I came across for smoke. Nice decor for good photo opportunities.

First of all, to sit at a table in the shop, you're required to purchase a drink at exorbitant prices (4 euros for a tiny 0.2L Coca-Cola). The staff was also unpleasant. When I politely asked for a lighter, I was told I had to buy one from their overpriced selection (I just needed to light it). The cashier was then incredulous when I said I'd finished my drink, grilling me with unnecessary questions. The products are decent and the atmosphere is cozy, but the space is rather small. I won't be returning.

Me and my partner loved this place, we visited Amsterdam for 2days and came here on both days in the afternoon/evening, atmosphere is relaxed, they play decent music, staff are friendly. Decent place to smoke and pricing is reasonable. Would highly recommend. We shall be back on our next visit.

These guys are the essence of the cannabis spirit. Specially here in Amsterdam. Cristos & Alessandro are the ones with the top strain recommendations they were amazing. We’re big cannabis heads from California & Texas, and we are extremely impressed by their hash and their flower. Specially, the strawberry banana and the gorilla glue. Out of this world, comparable to California.

Favorite place EVER!!!!! We were in Amsterdam for 4 days and came everyday!!! The outside terrace is great and so is the inside!!! A pure sativa was 9 euros and they were amazing and so was their 12 euros cali joint

The glue strain is outstanding. The carrot cake block is also nice Indoor sitting area is okay to roll a joint before leaving, I prefer the outdoor area

Good weed but one of the girls of the counter has a really bad attitude . She didn't want to explain me a doubt about a different type of cannabis. I think she needs to chill out and Buy a joint there and change de attitude . Because you wouldn't expect a bad vibe in this places from people in the counter .

I've been here a couple of times now for an early morning coffee, and I love it. Super chill vibe with a wide variety of smoke on the menu. The coffee is great and the staff are friendly.

It's a must go to when in Amsterdam can't wait to go back and visit. They have a legit menu with legit prices. Their hash was fire, they will also lend you grinders or trays you will have to leave a deposit or an ID. The staff was super cool. The vibes were super chill. They had 90's rap so it was so legit hope to visit soon!!!

This was my second time here, last time was about a year ago. Since then they have done quite a bit of improvement, new benchs, tables, and atmosphere. Really friendly staff singing along to the classic rock (amazing music choices). I got the purple punch and it was great.

Customer service was great. Weed was good. Only drawback was that you have to buy a drink to smoke even if you buy their weed. Gets very busy so go in the morning.

Extremely rude staff. Walked in and looked across the room very quickly first to see if there were spots available. Within a second the guy behind the counter said “helloooo, if you walk in you should say hello first.” Didn’t really give us a chance. Go to the coffeeshop next door (Rock-it), they’re really nice.

Good coffee, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great strain selection, even though the Cali ones are a bit more on the expensive side. Nevertheless a great place to start your Saturday with a coffee and a pre-roll.

Favourite coffee shop in Dam. Unreal drinks in there to go with top tier smokes. Best lighting inside and makes a sick atmosphere.

Very cool place, always full inside but you can find a spot outside if it’s not too cold, the menu is pretty good and the staff is awesome, definitely a must try.

Used to be the best coffeeshop near the red light district and in my favourite part of the city. We where there yesterday and where just made to feel like an inconvenience. We asked to use their volcano and a woman told us bluntly that we weren't proity and told to wait. Then once the queue cleared we were told to come back at 2pm to use the volcano as there will be more staff than the two there already. We asked the other server and where told its actually missing parts, so we ended up wasting half and hour of our last afternoon. Didn't even ask us if we wanted to buy anything. Very disapointing as the decore inside was really nice. If you want to vape this isnt the place!

If your looking for value this is the place. Pricey but it’s reasons especially since in the centre. Wi-Fi (ask at the bar), great options almost overwhelming, menu of drinks hot and cold….overall good variety. They have multiple locations around the city each unique to it self. But sit down in the city is Worth a go if you are in this area.

Just picked up some bits in albert hejin, no shopping bags other than freezer bags so just carried in our hands as it was only coke and chocolate. Went into Greenhouse Effect, man behind the counter was lovely, spent over €80s. Sat outside, waitress come over and read us the riot act as we had drinks from outside. Demanded we buy drinks from there if we wanted them. So we put all our bits on the chair out of sight. Waitress has proceeded to watch me like a child to make sure I don’t sip my drink. This is the only coffee shop that has done this to us. Kadinsky’s were more than happy to allow drinks from outside to be consumed, said there was no obligation. There are much better coffee shops a short walk away I would much rather spend my money at!

Love this coffeeshop! Very chill and good vibes. Plenty of space to grab a seat and facility’s are clean. Hot choc from here is a must also what ever else is on the menu.

This was my 3rd coffeeshop I visited while in Amsterdam. I've scored down the location only because the shop is quite small and when it's busy it gets very cramped both inside and outside. Other than that I had a great time here. Quality bud, friendly staff and great hash. That said I went back here 3 times for the bud and hash. I've seen some reviews that were not as complimentary but I'm gonna assume those people were perhaps not regular smokers and so they stuck to the cheaper strains. If you're willing to push your budget to €15 and up you're in for a treat. I had Candy Floss, Gushers and splurged €30 on their most expensive USA strain of the week which was genuinely phenomenal. If you're willing to wait patiently and converse with the counter they're very accommodating and let me smell all the strains as well as gave me some insight into each. The weed here is ultra strong in that price bracket and perhaps not for beginners.

A cosy corner to sit and relax next to De Waag and Nieuwmarkt. Employees are willing and happy to help.

The place was very great and I'll definitely be back when in Amsterdam! They've got plenty of tables with seata for the visitors to consume what they've bought from the coffeeshop and it's a friendly place where you can enjoy your stay that would make you feel relaxed.

Staff were nice but the weed I git from here was the worst ive ever smoked, have an awful trip - the guy recommended it suggesting it was similar to a favourite strain of mine and he couldn't have been more wrong. The vibe inside is also kinda weird as they were playing really loud metal (?) Music which was very questionable.

I need to be clear on the rating. The menu was great and the bar staff were super friendly. The blueberry weed I bought was fantastic. However, I had to leave because I hated the music. It was Grime and Trap and I think I'm a bit too long in the tooth for that. Would recommend a cheeky use of their gravity bong if you go here though.

Awful atmosphere and rude security guard. We bought a cake and sat down for five minutes to eat it and the guy came out and shouted at us for carrying a bottle of water (which we hadn't drank at the café). It was the middle of summer and I guess we were supposed to throw away the water we were carrying... Which would be somewhat reasonable but this place didn't have any drinks advertised for sale, nor was there any information that we couldn't have water with us. Two stars because the cake was decent and strong but the aggressive atmosphere wasn't worth it. Went to Baraka later for a relaxed atmosphere and not a mess of stag parties and angry workers.

I've come to Amsterdam a few times each time I've stopped by this Coffeeshop. It's my favorite personally very kind people working here who helped me find my needs. As well as a chill environment to spark a conversation with anyone here. I definitely recommend.

Excellent place all around - product, staff, ambiance, restroom, and most especially the outdoor seating area! One of the best and a breath of fresh air in this neighborhood

Great atmosphere, great staff with even better selections. Has a really nice aesthetic inside and out with some really cool tech indoors (a digital microscope and other cool bits scattered around) Bedankt!

Updating my rating because the new renovations are amazing. Such a chill vibe, this is always the first stop off the plane for us and been coming since way back in the HSB On The Market days. The staff are always fantastic and friendly, huge shoutout to Adrien for giving me the warmest welcome to the city this time too

Came to this coffee shop and spent nearly 50 euros on merchandise. One of the things I bought was a pre rolled joint. I bought a “mixed” meaning herb and tobacco. I lit it and smoked on it and realised it tasted just like a cigarette. I complained to the small woman with glasses behind the register who was extremely rude , she was very hostile, cursing at me and accusing me of bringing the joint in myself, she asked to see the container it came in I showed her I had ripped the joint open in the ashtray as proof and too no one’s surprise there was only tobacco inside. I was refused a refund I want to attach the picture of ashtray but unfortunately can’t on google browser. Worst experience in Amsterdam. Scammers. Arrogant and nasty staff. Avoid at all costs!

This coffee shop is very nice vibe and very warm welcoming from Mo. they have a very nice J’s and hot chocolate selection and excellent service. Recommend 100%

The shop was cute and the staff was very friendly, happy and helpful. We bought the pre made patisserie cakes one red velvet and one chocolate and they were really tasty and good quality. We also bought some pre rolled cigs that were also good. We went there twice.

Went in yesterday and mo helped us out it’s our first time in Amsterdam and he was so friendly with us and had great customer service he went through everything with us and explained it to us and made It a great experience id recommend anyone this shop to go to amazing quality products as well

Mo is the man! The Greenhouse Effect has best the best gas in Amsterdam, in our week trip we walked into many different coffee shops but Mo’s shop is the best around great prices, amazing quality and a lot of options! Mo guided us thru his amazing menu and options and we left more than satisfied! Great staff and shop, highly recommended!

Very friendly shop, they take a lot of care of their costumers and take the time to help them. One of the better cs experiences in Amsterdam. Their red velvet cake was very good and strong and their buds tasty. Only downside is that most of the time it's very busy and it's hard to find a place to sit... Would visit again tho!

My wife just went here yesterday and the service was amazing! We were waited on by Mo who was extremely helpful and patient, along with another lovely lady who helped her set up their gravity water pipe. Very welcoming and helpful. You felt like you were the only person there they were so attentive (which it was a busy night).

This is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had ANYWHERE, and that can attributed to two things: (1) the amazing gravity bong, and (2) the employee Mo, who literally went above and beyond! I will be back, and recommend you check it out!

Staff is extremely rude if you don’t have your id card in your hand while you’re walking in. The small woman behind the counter is a bad saleswoman, she doesn’t care when a client goes out of the shop. Anyways, there’s millions of better coffee shops to find in Amsterdam where the service is friendly. I do not recommend this awful place.

not on the side of the better cannabis stores. Welcomed at the counter,the choice is broad,on the more expensive side. The terrace is overlooking part of a canal and a flower stand, plenty space for people watching. Then on conveniences, the broken toilet door handle, I got caught out closing the door and almost locked in, leading to an uncomfortably small loo, no soap at the sink, didn't impress much. Then there is a little too much forceful upselling. The space cake, lauded as the preferred one from the team member behind the counter, was not up to scratch, with poor taste and crumbliness, and definitely not the best or strongest in Amsterdam. It's hard serving tourists, we get it, even more so when these are stoned, but pls make an effort for your place to be more comfortable and friendlier.

Really good staff. Particularly enjoyed talking to the young lady who served me who came from America and in particular had grown up in Oregon state. The other gentleman who served me was very helpful in giving directions to the market. The double espresso was also one of the best I had recently. Therefore, I can highly recommend the coffee.

This experience was wonderful!!! Better than I could have imagined. This quaint and oftentimes packed little slice of heaven is precisely the vibe you want when you are chilling and feeling a deep high. My beautiful and amazing budtendress Lisa made the visit even better by making great recommendations for the high I wanted. I came back for another of the same and they were out so she called their sister shop De Kroon (I think that's the name) and had them hold it for me. How dope is that?! You've got to stop in and check it out. It's a whole vibe. Thank you Lisa!!!

Loved this place, very quiet and good for eating a piece of cake and smoking in peace

This was the first coffeeshop I had ever been to. The menu did not mention how many grams of flower were in the edibles so I asked the woman working there how many grams and she told me 1 gram. I bought the red velvet cake under this assumption. It was not until I had left the store and begun eating the cake that I read the package (which is given after you buy) which said 0.3 grams. Not only had I been lied to, but the price of their cake was 12 euros, compared to the average price of other coffeeshops which is around 7 euros for the same amount of flower. The cake was the nicest edible I had eaten in Amsterdam to be fair. Staff: 3.5/10 Edible: 9/10 Value for money: 5/10

Stayed in Amsterdam for 6 days and tried a wide variety of coffeeshops to fully explore the culture of smoking in Amsterdam. I think this coffeeshop best pairs the late night energy some coffeeshops bring with the relaxing morning you can spend in other ones. I highly recommend coming here at any time of day. Wether you're looking to chill or chat it's the perfect spot. Cant wait to come back.

Lovely staff! One of the friendliest in Amsterdam. They are happy to go through the different strains. Loads of varity with weed, edibles , moonrocks and shatters. Coffee is really good too

Great see "cafe" where the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and ensured you get the best deal. Prices are reasonable. Nice selection.

Could be a one off but I experienced rude staff who unfortunately didn't want to help more inexperienced clientele. He refused to give any advice and I was just told "Look, here's the menu, what do you want?" Maybe it's a great if you know exactly what you want but it seems to be one to miss if you don't.

Very good, prices are alright. The space cakes are really good. For women who don’t smoke a lot normally: be smarter, eat a quarter. Because the strong cake WAS strong! It kicked in about 1,5h after eating it.

A perfect place to smoke in. I was personally totally new to weed and it was my first time there. The staff were super friendly and talented, they showed a lot of care and advised me about how to start. The prices were adequate and the variety was enormous. I'll definitely go there again upon my next visit to Amsterdam.

Had to come here on my last day after trying their buds earlier in the week. Good choices with good quality. Finished off with some Buddha Cheese and Amnesia Haze. Both very nice smell and look, pretty dank fire. Nice local strains seem to hold a high standard of quality here in AMS

Great coffee shop, their banana space cakes are also worth dying for, so tasty and moist, much nicer than the dry crumbly chocolate option! They're also great for suggestions on what to buy if you haven't been to Amsterdam before. They're also very knowledgeable about the different strains of cannabis and their effects

The staff are knowledgeable and will patiently assist their customers in answering any inquiries and addressing any concerns that may come when visiting such an establishment. The products are pleasing to all the senses, and the atmosphere is relaxing and not stressful in the slightest (as it should be). Absolutely horrible bar staff - Condescending & rude. Went here on our last day & he spoilt my whole opinion of Amsterdam. I never write reviews on here but I can’t stress enough how bad this member of staff was. Dreadful service. STAY AWAY.

Great little shop not far from Dam centraal. Fantastic menu as the good stuff is sold by the gram and also by the price (e.g. €15 for 1.6g). Indoor and outdoor seating is nice. Had a good time, definitely worth a visit.
