I dont often post reviews, but I've been going here for years and the lady behind the counter is always super kind, welcoming, etc, but I just had the weirdest experience with the guy who always wears the suit. I asked a simple question regarding something other employees told me but I never tried and got a very rude/aggressive response and was given the silent treatment for the remainder of the transaction. I've always loved this place but certainly feel uncomfortable coming back. I'll be going to Koffiehuis Reykjavik around the corner from now on.

They think they are gang members, I came from Rio de Janeiro, they tried to be rude at me and I laugh so much. Very bad attitude against the clients for that old grass. Tastes awful. Very bad quality. Bad service. Disrespectful people.

A very nice coffeeshop in Groningen. They offer good products, and most of the staff are super friendly. It's just a shame that their chocololly (75mg) is no longer as effective. It used to get me really high, but for the past few weeks, it hasn't had any noticeable effect. I even ate three in one evening and still didn’t feel anything. I’m hoping the last batch was just off and that they’ll bring back the stronger version. I hope the owner notices this and makes a change, as I’d love to keep buying it if it returns to how it used to be. Maybe the staff could comment on my review to clarify the situation regarding this issue?

They sell products in high quality and vary of them. Service was kind. Pop had been playing inside and unfortunately smoking is prohibited inside. They have two tables outside fortunately, but anyway is this a pity.

What a friendly experience for someone a coffeeshop for the first time. The man with the beard was very friendly, kindly explained the regulations around smoking in the Netherlands, as well as the different strains. Had a pleasant chat and a smooth purchase. They also make some pretty good tea. The place has a more hipster and down-to-earth vibe compared to other places, which I liked. Friendly patrons too.

I live on the border between France and Spain, I looked for a coffeeshop with good hash based on the reviews, of course it is good but it is not worth the price. I bought 3 varieties out of 6 or 7 and unfortunately not the quality expected. At home we have the same at 4 or 5e per gram, but when you pay more than 10e per gram you have exceptional hash, it is just good... Variétés : Sahara, Casablanca and I forget the last...

Cozy coffeshop, run by two nice and helpful ladies. Seems to be popular with locals and students. Interesting selection of strains with very fair prices. And they accept credit cards with contactless payment! I really recommend this establishment!

Normally a great experience, but the last two visits I’ve been overcharged on my purchases. They have a 6 joints for the price of 5 deal, And I was overcharged for 1.5 euros twice. Example: I bought 4 haze and 2 skunks. Cashier explained that the 2nd skunk will be free. Great, I think. Until she makes me pay 21 euros (4x4 haze = 16 euros, plus 1 skunk (3.50) (second skunk is free) = 19.50. Why did you make me pay 21 euros, 1.5 more than the supposed price? Kind of sad, usually a great place but it seems like its going downhill. Check your staff.

I've been in this place just once and I buyed some weed and hashish. The weed was ok. But the hashish wasn't hashish. I choosed in the cart and payed for a high level cannabinoid hash with a girl on the service desk. But when I tried to use it I realized that it's just a kind of resin or something like that. I'm sure that I was cheated. I don't recommend this place.

Friendly staff and clientele, it has more of a hipster vibe than other coffee shops (in a good way). Decent amount of quality products, try their pralines for a change. They offer free herbal tobacco to fill those Dutch cigarettes. Not a lot of space, unfortunately, but there is outside seating as well.

Small selection of weed for ~12€/g. All good quality. Can recommend Bommen Beerend; Sweet, fruity taste. Nice atmosphere, you can smoke outside...

Bad preducial staff who make fun of their visitors openly. Narrow depressing, downer atmosphere. Too expensive for the quality. Sour and stale orange juice, but tea the was good.

When you're looking for a coffeeshop in the centre of Groningen, look no further then the Metamorphose! It's a 1 minute walk from the UB and the RUG, so after a long day of studying there's no place better then to unwind. The employees know the product by heart so you'll always know what to get. And to top it all off, their coffee is the best in de business!

A cozey place with friendly staff and a very inviting atmosphere. Ask for 'De verdamper' when buying weed. A lot of international folk come here together with regular customers, most of which seem to mysteriously know each other.

Wonderful place with a lovely old touch. The staff is always super-friendly as well as the visitors. The venue is designed in such way that you are engaged to talk with others when in the smoking-area. The quality of all products is very good. When taking tea there is the choice of over 15 different flavors!

Ik ben het niet eens met de namen die zij an het product hangen, en ook niet met het lichte gebrek aan kennis. Echter, hier heb ik de beste wiet in mijn leven gerookt, uiterst schoon, en precies de juiste vochtigheidsgraad. Zij wegen niet af, maar minutieus, wordt ook het personeel in de gaten gehouden, met een vrij prominente camera gericht op alles en iedereen. Als veeleisend manneke, voelde ik mij hier op mijn gemak. De meeste klanten zijn zich niet eens bewust van het waarom, de hoofdproducten zo goed zijn. Maar die zijn in orde, heb de geperste goederen nooit gerookt, maar ik durf ervan uit te gaan dat dat ook prima is. Vreemd dat er niet wordt afgewogen, maar sterk aan te raden, geen longziektes worden hier verkocht, en het is erg schoon in de zaak. Leuk metalcafe ernaast ook! Maar wel een beetje duur, niet "te" duur, maar "gewoon" duur.
