This is no longer Funky Munkey, but a Snoop Dogg store. Service was incredibly rude, and if you ask for advice they will scoff and say whatever to make the line go faster. It is now a tourist trap; no longer a place to unwind with the WORST service ever. Don’t bother going here when there are other cozy shops around.

This is no longer CoffeeShop Funky Monkey, but has been replaced by a SWED Snoop Dogg shop. It is not good. Uncomfortable interior - thoughtful design in the same way benches meant to prevent homeless people from sleeping there is thoughtful. Service was rude. Hot chocolate was good though

Coffeeshop now called S.W.E.D a snoop dogg store. Newest coffee shop in Amsterdam absolutely stunning inside friendly atmosphere Will knowledgeable but tenders. I tried the L.A Pop 10/10

I've been to amsterdam 3 times (4th in september this year) and I loved this coffee shop since my first time in 2019. It was my favorite, the vibe, the people that worked there. I was so excited to take my two bestfriends there for my 3rd time there (their first in 2022) The new owner/worker whatever, was SO rude. we ordered some coffe and food but we had our own weed and she said and i quote "if the coffeshop starts do get full we would be the first asked to leave." it was 10 am and we were the only people there for the whole time we were there. I am coming again but I will NOT comeback to this place. I spoke so many good things about it and i felt like a liar lol Daniel (the worker there that i met in 2019 and 2020) you're an angel, and so kind! thank you for making that place like home, i hope you're doing great wherever you are

Staff has high temper, not communicative, you cannot even smoke the one you got from there inside without spending extra. No need to give your precious time.

Been told that I must order drink even though I purchase weed from there to be able to smoke inside.

Excellent edibles (June 2024), both the regular brownies and the more expensive, but genuinely delicious cakeblocs.

Unfortunately new owner, lost some of the historic strains (blueberry) and have increased the prices dramatically. Also a bit unwelcoming and unfriendly, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money there, plenty of other choices around

Just bumped up the prices and has a far less chill vibe with the new owner. There are better places all around so can only recommend here if you need a place to sit and are struggling.

Everything about the Funky Munkey is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The music is mellow. The space is welcoming and with all the comfy couches, a great place to unwind and relax.

Really chilled place, great staff, coffee isn't the best, but take a table near the window in summer and it's so nice watching over the river

Buying the product isn’t enough to be able to sit inside. You must purchase a drink to be able to go inside. I was by myself and the place was not busy inside. When trying to buy the product it was almost I was bothering staff member as he was to busy having a conversation with co worker

Went here multiple time a day on our 4 day trip to Amsterdam. It a perfect location right in between everything really good access to other parts of the city , service was always 100% will definitely be back!

It was Relaxing...Top Shelf Smoke...Top bud tender..He nos his stuff..The Coffee was Smooth n Tasty.. But my Fav...Was Reb bull Runzt....We went back for more...As it was Next level High.... We felt like Kings...

Enjoyed my visit, good coffe. Fair prices. Smooth surrounding, dark, woody and a large chessboard.

Found a spot seniors can be comfortable in. Nice vibe and menu. Good coffee and tea. No throngs of young men. No tobacco either.

First time to visit this coffeeshop, ordered a coffee and rolled a j then sat down while there was a match playing on tv, i must have sat there for a few hours. Then I smoked my joint and off on my travels. There was a few areas to sit down in this location, it was nice and vibey, there was manh people there when I was leaving, and they had a nice coffee, some refreshments and they won't allow in without making a purchase, most coffee shops are like that nowadays.

Great peaceful coffeeshop. The chess table was fun. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere by the river made it a perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

Friendly and chill place with a memorable chess set faced to the canal. Prices are reasonable, the vibe is local rather than touristic, and the cannabis is was sold to me not in whole buds, but still tasty and decent. Coffee needs work though. Try blueberry haze for a smooth taste and mid high. Strains' THC content is unfortunately unknown and not advertised.

It's cosy and fantastic here. The coffee tasted great nice seating. Impressed to see that they provided their customers with snooker and chess you can enjoy...

If you are looking for a place to keep time with your friends or relax with your wife or family members I may recommend this place to you CoffeeShop funky Munkey is one of the best place to relax or keep time,the price of there food stuff is very good not only that the management is very good and friendly to all costumers.

Funky Munky CoffeesShop, not only serve very good coffee and food but the site view of the coffee shop is a beauty to behold. While sipping your coffee just take a look at the beautiful environment. Lovely place the staff are well mannered.

Thx for all amazing staff ... I was in a bad mood and need some coffee ☕ but by chance and away from the centre i found the most amazing mood i ever had .... Good smoke ... Hash brownie it's trade mark with awsome service .... Really felt like a new man born there ... Recommended from my deep heart I love funky munkey

Been here a few times over the years. Nice location away from centre. Good quality smoke as well. One of the frutiest blueberry strains around. Worth the visit!

For those of you who want a good 'coffee' menu, this is the place! Lots of choice and varieties to suit all of your taste buds and send you flying. I would recommend a visit if you're in Dam. Check out the menu... Enjoy ppl. The moto is "Stay Wavey"

Great indoors, with big windows next to water. Nice collection of weed and great coffee.

One of our favourites esp for the blueberry haze. Staff are great and friendly, and love chilling in there. Also has a tiny outdoor space.

We tried couple of coffeeshops in Amsterdam, and this one really got me. Beautiful atmosphere, right next to the water, nice places for sitting (and even lying i think) and also good brownies. Staff was also super friendly

Well I was shocked they have nice selection of joynts (like bubblegum or white monkey) and they are not disgusting like on the town. They are open since 8 im morning. They accept pin and have snack and place to stay during the rain

Serious quality for the price you pay, honestly loved that a young guy was White in the face looking ill outside, quality advertising, will definitely return again and again.

Danny was real cool and accommodating. Sat by the window and veggied out for a few hours listening to a great hip hop mix. Super chill vibes, great greens, and the prickly pear tea was on point!!

Mind stairs when walking down dont be drunk or you know .Grabbed preroll but smaller bigger kick .I thought they were filters but a misunderstanding very polite English Gentleman fine about it as anyone I have met over here on my 1st solo trip

One of the prettiest coffeeshops. There is also a place to play billiard. Very cozy sofas. And the price is also very pleasant. The staff will give you recommendation. But be ready to show your ID

One of the best coffeeshops in the Dam to visit with a canal side view that you can enjoy smoking a joint playing chess or the pool table. Then there is the large TV on the wall showing sports, TV and music video channels. Their extensive menu includes great hashes and weeds for reasonable prices. Snacks and prices are fair. Staff are friendly and helpful. Comfortable couches and chairs make it worth staying for a few hours. A local coffeeshop for locals and tourists, worth leaving the tourist trap of the city centre for.

This place is excellent however their was about 20 seeds in the shoreline we got. Not fun going through that. Didn't say anything to the tender as I didn't want to really make a fuss about things. Always a nice place to enjoy. Good view over the water
